Yep he got to drive it for a very short time, less than a year until he had to comply in the States. If memory servers me correct you are allowed to drive for a specified amount of time before you either have to ship it permantely off shore or comply it. Due to the fact that the car is what it is there is no real way around having to front up to MotoRex if want to keep it.
If you can dig up positive info, please post the link to the DOT regs on it, that would be fantastic! I would in fact save a few blokes a fair bit of mucking about and extra expense in getting one there from England where they are stationed in the Military. Right now they are in the same boat as a State side person.
damn...oh well it was worth a try....I think that Rb-motoring is alowed to legalize them too...whos cheaper motorex or Rb-motoring?
