New wheel purchase advice.

I found these going for £30 at a local games store today and wondered if anyone had any experience of them?

Logic 3 steering wheel. Link doesn't go direct to product, see pic below.

They let me get one out of the box in the store, it feels pretty well made and other Logic 3 stuff I've had in the past has been OK, I assume it would work with gran turismo 4, if not then the names a bit of a let down. Just wanted to know if any others had tried it really.

Don't assume anything when it comes to purchasing a good wheel.

It looks as if the wheel (I'm guessing it is the one on their top PlayStation page) is trying to be a copy of the Logitech Driving Force wheel, for GT3. The TopDrive GT4 wheel is also XBox compatible and, therefore, there is no force feedback, just vibration!

You will be wasting your money.

Get a used GT3 Logitech Driving Force wheel, if you want a similar design (no stick shifter, though) but better quality wheel. It has the best layout for using the D-pad or SONY control buttons on any wheel out there - bar none, and it is cheap and reliable, if you can find one.

Otherwise, the best wheel, overall, is the Logitech Pro. Just make sure you get a great warranty when you buy this wheel.

Yeah that was the one, the red and black Topdrive GT4 wheel...Sorry about the link, got that a bit wrong.



I'm not too chuffed with it not having feedback so I'll probably give it a miss then and if there's not a solution to the DFP not working on the PS3 by the time it hits the UK I guess I'll stick with the old dual shock till the next incarnation of the DFP turns up.

I've never used a decent wheel till now so there's no rush.

I have tried that wheel in a store(unpowered)and my first impression was that this wheel is a waste of money 👎
