I've adjusted my workout to include ab crunchers on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The weirdest thing happened yesterday, after I blasted my legs, I did my set of crunchers (it really hurt by the way) and I stood up to stretch my legs some more and my abs started to cramp up. It was the weirdest sensation, it also happened a couple of weeks ago. I guess I need more potassium in my diet. Any one else have their abs cramp up on them?

I have alot of cramps in the summer. It's always at night, in my legs, I don't know why but the pain is unbearable. It does not feel like an ordinary cramp but a heavy one lasting for just 30 seconds before it just leaves. I still feel the cramp afterwards for 2 days...But I guess it's because I cycle 50 km every single day in the summer...

Salt + Water = No more cramps!

Serious just drink lots of water and eat somthing nice and salty (Pringles, cheese cheddars) tends to do the trick for me.

Oh man...the sound of that pre or post workout sounds like a recipe for throwing up!

I rarely take them before training but if I can feel cramp setting in I have them.

I always used to have them in my lunch when I knew I had a school rugby game later in the day.

Well, last night after my arm workout I got the tape out and measured my bicep at 18.125". It was weird as there wasn't much change but this was the first time I measured post work out also. Not sure if I'm measuring muscle growth compared to my prior measurements or not. I'll check in a couple days pre-workout to see if they are back down to 17.825".

UPDATE:
I measured this morning and I was down to an even 18". Lack of pump and lack of water retention from my coffee probably all contribute to the decrease in size over night.

03/30/2007 - Still at 18.125"
04/11/2007 - After yesterdays arm workout, I am currently at 18.25". A little gain there 👍. I've also switch arm day with back day. So now, arms on Tuesday and back on Fridays.
07/11/2007 - Slight gain at 18.625". The gains are definitely slowing down. I was told that if I get my legs in better shape that it will help build mass in my upper body as well so I'm concentrating a little heavier on my legs. Had a killer workout yesterday and am pretty sore today in my legs. On Tuesday this week I got up to 115lb straight bar curls for three sets of 8 with rep 7 and 8 being pretty hard but it still felt pretty strong. I'm running on not enough sleep this week and I finally caught up with me today. I don't think my shoulder workout will be that good, but we'll see.
