This is promising!

Hmm... it seems Sony are trying a new disc stamping maching that is 4x quicker. But they don't know how to turn it back on and the manual has had coffee spilt on it.

Unless something goes horribly wrong, I believe it is very likely we will have the game by early December. With a title like this, I don't think Sony wants to miss the holiday shopping season.

Just in time for my finals and my free time to play =D

Well at least all the raging posts will end now that we learned about GT5 going gold, and hopefully tomorrow we will finally get that release date that Sony mentioned we would get before the end of last month.

Amazing how fast the mood changes around here. :)

This news sounds good, and could this be the fastest any thread has gone from zero replys to four pages long?

Well thats good news, but its a bit brief from Kaz, no?

Kaz can be a man of few words, but he also likes the spotlight, so I am thinking he will be more vocal about GT5 tomorrow during his award presentation that is suppose to be a big party type thing with musical guests, light shows, and giving out the awards and letting people drive previous SEMA GT winners in the game before its launch.

I hope he will unveil (yet another) date for the games launch.

That's kind of what I was getting at in my response. I don't think Kaz wanted to talk too much about it to an individual reporter, but to announce everything tomorrow during the award ceremony.

a release date will put me more at ease. in stores for a midnight release will make me a happy man. in my ps3 at home will make me a very tired man. first man to stay up for 120 hrs straight playing grand turismo's newest release, lol.

if the game has gone gold, there is no way they can hold til december with black friday fast approaching. i call nov 16th or 23rd to be on shelves for black friday. most of us will have it at midnight or before noon on release day.

11/23 is the best we could possibly hope for I think. 12/13 might be more likely though.
