Wasn't it 10 years...

F40 = year he died
F50 = 10 years after that
F60 = should've been this year or 2007.

F40 production ran from 1988-1992. F50 from 1995-1997. Both cars were built on the same platform just like the Enzo and FXX. That's Ferraris MO really. 2 Supercars out of one platform.

Wrong, the F40 and the F50 had nothing similar between them. The F40 was of tubular construction (reinforced with carbon fiber and aluminium), while the F50 was an all-carbon fibre car.

Then, there's the small matter that the F40 had a V8 twin-turbo 3L engine, while the F50 had the 4,5l V12 atmo engine.

PS: Now, if you said that the F40 shared its basis on the 288 GTO Evoluzione, then that would be right 💡

I don't think the F60 was seen as significant enough to warant an anniversary car.

The F40 was built on teh grounds that Enzo Ferrari didn't think he had much time left, and the F50 because 50 years is a significant milestone.

60 isn't seen as important, however, 75 may be.

Ah, the poor unloved 288 GTO, the most beautiful Ferrari Supercar, and it gets no recognition or love.

Don't worry baby, if I ever get rich, I'll buy you, and love you, hard.

Wait, where was I?

Oh, yeah, the FXX isn't really a full Supercar, it's a development mule for the Enzo successor, more or less.

If they are going to bring back the GTO, I hope Ferrari and Car and Driver are ready for another GTO vs GTO battle... lol
