Amnesiac was my introduction to Radiohead properly, so when I got my PS5 and saw this was free, I spent a good 40 minutes or so in absolute awe. The way the iconography and music works is incredibly immersive.

Yes I have only just had a ride in the experiment and it is really nice! we spend a curious visual and auditory moment, it feels good.

Hows the game? I plan on getting it sometime in the next week or two, regardless of any type of reviews, good or bad

I personally have mixed feelings. It’s very simplistic in that you can’t just jump on anything, the game tells you where and what can be jumped on. However, everything else it’s pretty good, graphics are nice, they’re not going to blow away AAA titles, but for a small indie team they’re good.

Heck you’re a cat and what could be better, you have a meow button, you can knock stuff off surfaces like a cat, you can scratch stuff etc. I won’t give too much away as it will spoil all the little things. Let’s just say, there is a lot to recognise if you’re a cat owner. They also make great use of the speaker in the pad.

I’m only at about 1/3 into the game I believe but it’s been fun so far.

Edit…

Got a bit further now and really enjoying it. A nod to Back to the Future, certainly a lot of Half Life in the game, but a lot of heart and soul in the game.

A few more and nods to Skyrim & Daft Punk. I’m sure there are loads more little details I’ve missed on this first play through. Nearly finished I think.

Thanks for the insight! Being a cat daddy of two, I was already immediately interested in it. I don't have a PS5 but I plan to pick it up on PC. I did notice the simplicity of it through some minor gameplay ads I came across randomly, but I'm not too bothered by it. I need something to break my time away from Elden Ring right now, been playing that non-stop for a while now, and something light hearted would do great.
