This'll probably get buried but my first impression, because I don't have a lot of time to sit and game like a lot of people do, is that, in a sentence, it's a little convoluted on how to get things done.
You're forced through the long as **** intro movie the first time. I get it, they want us to watch it, but honestly I was just ticking off the time I was actually going to be playing the game while I had a moment.
The camera in 3rd person is a little weird. Can't put my finger on what it was, but I was able to fix it in settings. Maybe because it moved with the car too much. I don't care what other peoples preferences are in regards to which camera to use, this one is mine. The option is there because it's a valid preference.
Now what little I got to play, 25th anniversary, base PS4, was not bad. I still have a lot to get through but my toddler was out of patience and wanted to play. I'm glad they kept the axis control because that's how he "plays". (Plays meaning crashing most of the time lol)
I don't enjoy having to be forced to go through the process of being dripped these locations of what is essentially the game menu. Mostly, again, because I don't have the time to play as much as I did when I started out in gt sport, let alone almost all the other preceding gt's.. and being dripped these things just hinders what I want to be able to do.
