Lego MP4-4 stage 1.jpg

Stage 1 of the MP4/4 is done. As always, the most stressful part are the stickers. I hate stickers and I almost ruined one... Printed pieces please Lego! Other than that, retracing a step or two or panicking because a little piece you need was in another bag, the usual for Lego builders.

Great purchase. I love my Portal.
Thanks!
Do you maybe using thumb grips for it?
I'm finding them too small.

Are this one good:

It depends on the games, the grips do feel a bit small and odd-feeling for racing and some shooters. Mostly I'm playing RPGs or platformers on the portal so the standard ones are fine.

Stage 2 is finished and halfway to completion. Unfortunately it seems the figurine is not to scale with the car for display purposes.

EDIT: Ha ha, did you notice my mistake? I had to rebuild the left intake.

My Steam library grows further since my previous post, including two more Falcom titles (Gurumin & Cold Steel IV)

Some of these are admittedly bundle stuff that I might not've bought individually, and Dark Sector was a temporary freebie (I guess in celebration something Warframe-related? idk) that I nabbed.

That said, I've actually already gotten around to playing and beating a few of these, and HIGHLY recommend them. Namely: 1000xRESIST (which is now my personal GOTY for 2024), Mouthwashing, and Fear the Spotlight. (Do note that Mouthwashing and Fear the Spotlight are shorter games though, so depending on how you feel about that, you may not feel you've gotten your money's worth for their asking price... Mouthwashing is about 2-3 hours long, and Fear the Spotlight about 4-5 hours in total.)

Since I'm forced to use mobile internet, I bought this machine for the future use (still not 5G internet - to be precise, I have the signal, but provider don't want to give me this option) :

With two P56 outdoor antennas, it should be fast as hell, but now are kids home from school and only downloading, so network is fully used...

Also bought cheap Christmas blanket, so I will sleep in festive mood :)

And PS Portal and OnePlus Buds 3 got some part of Christmas love:

A 27” curved 1440P monitor for my brother. Runs at 144hz - it’s quite nice.

Some simple Sony Bluetooth headphones for my other brother

There’s other stuff I’ve gotten for family - this has been one of the more expensive Christmas holidays for me and that’s due to the overpriced plane ticket I had to buy..

William Gibson (Origination of Cyberpunk)

Excellent choice. If you haven't played Cyberpunk 2077 yet I strongly recommend reading at least Neuromancer before you do for context. If you have played it, well, too bad. If you'd bought some Dick I would've said your taste in reading is the same as mine, but... Well, you didn't. I'm a huge Dick fan.

Hmm, I think I see why people refer to him as PKD now.

Anyway, I did just buy some boring adulting gear (door mat, air fryer, stud finder and endoscope) but this is more fun:

Just some animals to add to my son's collection.

I am a fellow PKD fan although only one book so far, In particular The Man In The High Castle. I haven't read Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep yet though which is what I Imagine you are mainly referring to :)

I have played Cyberpunk 2077 but I find the Cyberpunk subgenre so engaging and interesting that I'm sure I'll still enjoy it.

Thought I'd get myself a nice Christmas present:

Sony A6600. Ordered it on the 24th, should arrive when I'm back from my holidays in France next week. Can't wait for my photography season to start next April! :D
