Oh I'll bet the Bears make the playoffs, but the games from here on out are gonna need Cutler and Marshall more than ever.

Actually that o-line has been producing good results for the past two games. Only one sack given up last game I think.

However, this same o-line is pretty much a player away from duct tape...

Either Cutler gets sacked left and right, or he finds his inner running back and run that 🤬.

Alshon and Hester have to step up big as well. Especially since we lost Bennett.

Cutler will most likely get sacked a few times. Forte has been inconsistent to me. A few 1 yard runs or 1 yard losses. Then, a big play. Inconsistent this way, and also over the long stretch.

ehhhh... But, how about Michael Bush. I never thought he would be this good/have this type of impact on the offense. And remember that one play when the Bears went for it and did not make it? What if they would've taken that field goal? Win? But, I would still go for it, just not run straight up the gut.

That Seattle run defense just out hustled them for that key play.

Even if Lovie went for a field goal, the game would've been tied anyway.

Despite the secondary putting on a brutal performance, RG3 and the beastly Alfred Morris lead my team to their 3rd consecutive victory

Hoot salute!

Ready to start a new week? Tonight is Denver at Oakland. How will the Broncos fare in the Black Hole against those black and silver boys? We shall see tonight.

As a news bit, I read that Ben Roethlisberger will start this Sunday for the Steelers in their game vs. the Chargers. So it will be good to see Big Ben get the start. How effective he will be depends. Considering Pittsburgh is hosting on San Diego, maybe Roethlisberger will go off and look better before getting banged up.

Last night, it was 26-13 in Oakland as the Denver Broncos handled the Raiders. That is now, what... 8 straight wins for Denver? Amazing...

Playoff races- where you care about teams you otherwise couldn't care less about. "They got to lose!" "We gotta win!" Teams that need help getting into this season's playoffs will need to win while everybody else screws up. If your team needs help, they can hopefully get help this weekend.

Spare a thought for the Dallas Cowboys as they try to go through this week despite tragedy. It was Kansas City last week dealing with tragedy, and this week is about Dallas. My heart goes out to the Dallas Cowboys this weekend (even as a Texans fan- I'm a good sport).

Tonight's big game may have particular interest to one GTPlaneteer... it's Detroit at Green Bay.

I'm praying that the football gods bless Detroit with a win.

Edit: The Bears season implosion continues. Down 0-14 to the Vikes.

Hey I heard the draft class for 2013 is pretty talented...

I really hope it won't happen but the Jets may end up making a run at the playoffs. Seeing Pittsburgh and Cincinnati losing gives our team some ridiculous hope.

If the Bears don't make the playoffs and the Jets do, I think the Mayan prediction is possibly true.

Here's how the Jets make the playoffs outright:

Pittsburgh must go no better than 1-2 over the final three weeks and MUST lose against Cincinnati.
Cincinnati must go no better than 2-1 over the final three weeks and must beat Pittsburgh and lose to Baltimore.

Jets must win out.

That is the only way that the Jets can realistically make it. If Indianapolis loses out and the Jets win out and either Pittsburgh or Cincinnati does one of the above then the Jets also make the playoffs. Both ways are unlikely.

With the way Indy is playing, I doubt they will lose out, but I don't think they'll win out completely either. Big Ben is back right? I think he can steer the Steelers to a playoff berth, and while new comer Dalton flounders.

I don't think the Jets will win out either.

Dalton made the playoffs last year so I don't know how he is a newcomer.

Jets have a manageable schedule and it could be an easy schedule. They play Tennessee (eliminated), San Diego (could be eliminated next week if Pittsburgh, New York and Cincinnati win) and then Buffalo (same categories as San Diego).

Cleveland could make the playoffs, but that is unlikely as well. Oh, how I wish the Jets lost to the Rams and beat the Patriots, then Cleveland would be eliminated if the Jets won two of their 3 final games.
