Nicknamealguem's Photomode Gallery | Catharsis

I should take the opportunity to tell you that I really like your work so far. First of all, your presentation looks clean and simple (I believe creating the banners is not simple at all). All of your pictures look good, they show beautiful cars from different angles. You make no exception with your latest update: You chose a very photogenic car and showed details from uncommon (but good!) angles. There is nothing wrong with the quality; it is interesting how you are able to show parts of the car (not only in this update) so rich in detail and with good lighting effects. 👍

Nice update! I like the unusual angles you've used, and the faded colour tone is great too. It's a dramatic looking car, you've done a great job of capturing it :)
Thanks, the song help me allot with the car and getting some of the angles as well.

That car is hot, and you've captured it nicely. Any front shots of the beauty coming up:drool:
Yes, probably yes. I only noticed now that I didn't have any front shot in this update. The front is not quite my cup of tea, but the back is delicious :P

Wow That is one Stunning set my favourite has to be all four of them 👍
Thanks, glad you liked it.

Basically everything I thought. Probably my favorite set from you so far! I'm always looking for inspiration on new angles and stuff and looks like I've found it!
Funny you mention about inspiration, since it was your style that kind of gave the touch and inspired me a bit in this update too. :D

All very stylish. Great work. 👍
Thanks. :)

The fitrs one is outstanding. Great job.
Thanks allot, the motion blur helps allot to it, I think. 👍

Thanks for the deep comment. I am still not satisfied at all with the presentation and banners. I am looking for something specific, that doesn't seem to come out...

Nice update with the Calsonic R35, never seen this car photographed this well. Can't wait to see more!
Thanks, it is a beautiful and well decaled car (with a perfect color to photograph it's back.). :D

Doh! I was in here when you updated and forgot to comment!

The first shot is far and away my favourite, even though they are all very, very well done. Something about it; it captures that feeling of nailing that section of the track just right. Putting the throttle down and diving down towards the bridge was something I got all too familiar with when running every Prologue car there for leaderboard times, and it feels good when you get it just right. I was skeptical about how I'd feel with a SuperGT paired with Eiger, but it works perfectly! The tone suits it, the detail is outstanding... I have absolutely zero negative things to say about this. Fan-freaking-tastic :D

First one is really, really nice. Nice work! :)
Thanks Bram.

The first one is a great shot Luis. I also like the composition of the last one. Nice work! :D
Thanks Swiss, glad you liked those two.

Thanks Slip. Eiger and the SuperGTs were made for each other. Really, Eiger seems more like a Rally-ish track, but it's mood goes perfect with a SuperGT (even though, it would be almost impossible in real life).

Gallery News: I've just gone to the drawing board with my gallery. Was not happy at all with the panels and so alike, so I decided to make a huge face-lift for the whole gallery.
Updates will come eventually, as soon as I decide which song will inspire the photo-shoot.

Thanks Ghertel. Glad you liked it. :D

Well, long time without any update, but with exams, didn't had the time to it, but they finally finished today. Now, about the update, I've took this pictures a phew days ago, and started working on the update yesterday (edited two of the pictures). I managed to finish it today and I am pretty pleased by this update. Hope you all like it.

That's a SPectacular update and combo really captures the Western Desert and a fantstic and clever presentation Hope to see more soon .

Great shots there Nicknamealguem, I like all of them. I'd say the first two are the best to me. The burn't colour treatment works well with the theme you've set and presentation is nice too. Well done 👍

I must say, your Presentation is something to Envy, the lovely and slick movie poster-ish setup is slick and the shots never dissapoint.

! Great minds think alike. What can I say. Great set Luis. I adore the tones and the mood of the whole thing! Very creative presentation as well. I'm gonna have to step up my upcoming update! :sly: You've set the bar high for that particular car now.

Great stuff you created man, I do like the 2nd and last shots and caption for each of them too, and the tones of the pictures are also well done 👍

Great stuff, and wonderful presentations!

I see you call your gallery Photomotography. I just started adding a 'Photomotography by Forgetful' tag to my entries in the 2.0 comp. In the interest of full disclosure, I had no clue you used the term as well. The first time I used it was when I named my personal gallery at my league's forum. I just don't want you to think I was biting on your style...

You know what they say about great minds... Do you? 'cause I forgot. :dopey:

Thanks GPR. I actually used the warmed GT5 filter in all of them, since it actually gave me that burned/hot look of the western desert I was looking for. 👍

Wow, what a great update. Love every shot! (get it - shot? gunshow? lol)
 Thanks. 👍

Thanks, It's nothing much really, glad you lied it. :)

How dost thou do it?

Excellent stuff 👍
Thanks, Thou shall not? :D

I love the first two shots.
Thanks Jamie, it's always a pleasure

Yeah, and the fact that both are Green :D. Can't wait for your update (I'm sure it will be better than mine). :D

Thanks allot, the captions are actually parts of the lyrics of the song The Gun Show by In This Moment, liked in the update.

Excellent presentation of some truly gorgeous shots! :)
Thanks. :D

"Hey cowboy, how's it going tonight."

👍

Loving every bit of this update mate 👍
Thanks Bram, I like how they kind of combine, since I've toke and edited the pictures before I had seen the song lyrics (I normally do the opposite).

Great stuff, and wonderful presentations!

Oh no worries but I call my gallery Photomography and not Potomotography.
The main reason was to separate Photography from Photomode, since I don't consider photomode to be photography. So I thought that the art of Photomode should be called Photomography. It sounds good to me and differentiates it from the actual photography. If more people want to use it, it's fine by me.

Awesome work Nicknamealguem! I like the captions!
Thanks, they are all inspirations from the actual song.

great stuff there cowboy LOL
Howdy partner. :D Thanks.

Stunning update, and superb presentation as always; it's not just some pictures it's whole package of entertainment. The pictures are amazing as well- love that 3rd one, it looks like the two at the back are henchmen or something. Great concept, excellent execution.

What an amazing set!

All of them are simply amazing. 👍

The Calsonic set is astonishing too. :)
Thanks, and glad you liked the Calsonic set as well. 👍

Geez, that presentation... really top notch! 👍
Thanks sejtur. At first I thought panels would be a bothersome, but I actually love doing them. :D

Verry nice update, the Western vibe is really present and the "Themesong" is .... Loud:banghead:
 Thanks. Yeah, the theme song is kind of "loud" and Metal. :D

Well, rather quick I know, but here is another update, inspired by: "This is SPARTA!!!"; quote. Actually, every time I see the name Toscana, I think of it, this way :D :
