chael Caruso’s Nissan Altima will sport another fresh livery in Townsville, promoting the company’s upcoming Australian GT Academy finals on the Gold Coast.
The #23 Nissan has spent the last two events decked out in NP300 Navara hues after running the early rounds with a factory Nissan Nismo look.
Townsville however marks a return to primary branding for the GT Academy, which ran on Todd Kelly’s sister car at the Sydney pre-season test and on Caruso’s at Symmons Plains.
The Australian finals will take place at Movie World on the Gold Coast on July 15-17, where gamers will compete for a chance to test their skills at Silverstone later this year.

“Nissan is pleased to raise awareness for the GT Academy program with such a spectacular livery,” said Nissan Australia CEO Richard Emery.
“We have enjoyed using Michael’s #23 Nissan Altima V8 Supercar to promote several initiatives this year, including NISMO, NP300 Navara and GT Academy.
“GT Academy truly takes people from ‘gamer to racer’, as evidenced by NISMO Athletes such as Jann Mardenborough, Lucas Ordonez and of course two of this year’s Bathurst 12 Hour winners, Wolfgang Reip and Florian Strauss.
