This one I like.
IMO, it states nothing but aggression. All around. Not the in-your-face aggression of Mean Joe Greene, but more business-only agression of Karelin. I liked the R34 best up until now, but this (if it stays true to concept) could win the spot for me. A clean design is a good design. After all, there's a reason I like Audi more than (Bangle's) BMW.
One thing that is holding this Skyline back from being a legend: it will cost more than US$100,000. No more "pretty much affordable" Skyline; no more "middle-income"-man's supercar. You'll have to be making serious money to buy this. Most of my clients can't afford this (and yes, my clients are among the top 5%).
There's also the fact that the nuclear-annihilation-proof 2.6L inline-6 is gone. Totally gone. Nowhere to be found in anything with a Nissan badge on it. The R390 engine would be nice, but much more expensive to upgrade and maintain. And I'm betting not quite as reliable.
What Nissan has done is alienated the very people who made it what it is in the first place. They have taken the wonder-car and turned it into a supercar. Bye-bye Skyline; hello GT-R.
