I like it - all the elements of a GT-R are there. None of the original GT-Rs are what you'd call attractive cars - more purposeful...

Um, are you trying to get more votes for funniest member, Vat?

Well, I've seen worse. So, *shrug*

ITS ALL RIGHT, BUT THIS MODEL SKYLINE (R33) IS BETTER, AND NICER!!!!!

It's a Skyline, it better have power.:burnout:

I think it will have heaps - they've dropped the old 2.6 litre twin turbo straight six (doesn't meet the new Japanese emission rules), and the export versions are meant to be getting a V8 - I think the rumour is it's getting the twin turbo 3.5 litre V8 from the R390 road car, and power will be about 450hp. Ouch.

I wanna puke! and then puke again, then dry heave and then I don't know what! That thing is Uglier than Ugly, its so ugly, they don't have a name for it yet! I am really over reacting!

They need to stick to basics, not over do it with some wild looking concept car. It still does have that rectangular grill though...
That's Most likely what cars are going to start looking like, angular and curves mixed together, look at cadillac........

Well, that is only a concept, and I don't think that's what the R35 is going to look like.

Let me have a little search..

Here we go...

This one I like.

IMO, it states nothing but aggression. All around. Not the in-your-face aggression of Mean Joe Greene, but more business-only agression of Karelin. I liked the R34 best up until now, but this (if it stays true to concept) could win the spot for me. A clean design is a good design. After all, there's a reason I like Audi more than (Bangle's) BMW.

One thing that is holding this Skyline back from being a legend: it will cost more than US$100,000. No more "pretty much affordable" Skyline; no more "middle-income"-man's supercar. You'll have to be making serious money to buy this. Most of my clients can't afford this (and yes, my clients are among the top 5%).

There's also the fact that the nuclear-annihilation-proof 2.6L inline-6 is gone. Totally gone. Nowhere to be found in anything with a Nissan badge on it. The R390 engine would be nice, but much more expensive to upgrade and maintain. And I'm betting not quite as reliable.

What Nissan has done is alienated the very people who made it what it is in the first place. They have taken the wonder-car and turned it into a supercar. Bye-bye Skyline; hello GT-R.

Yeah - that is sad. No way to coax it over the new Japanese emissions rules, apparently.
