Nissan Skyline R34 driving advice - how to drive it?

No chance
I found no CSA helping me a bit actually. The car does oversteer but it telegraphs its intentions pretty well and you can correct it yourself. Sometimes that oversteer can do you good too :)
Having CSA takes that oversteer away from me, which I don't like

What I found doing in the R34 yesterday is to coast. A whole freaking lot. It's very stable when you coast it through the corners. It's very tempting to put some throttle because the car's really stable and feels like it can do some more, but if you do you'd start powersliding.

this car four wheel steering, any one seen it in action in GT Sport, is ther a video or photo of it in action?

Also in real life you can turn this feature off, I don't see an option to in GT Sport tut tut KAZ.

It's in the bottom right corner when on track (either qualifying or racing), scroll through using left and right D-pad buttons... Radar, Track Map, TCS etc and you will see it.
Thanks. Cannot believe I didn't clue into this before. Hence my PSN name - slo2know.

I drove it today with the abs and tc on 2, bb +5, just about the same as I had with the 512BB in the time trial last week.
Did trailbraking into the corners and the tc helped me keep the car straight on exit. My times were somewhere in the 53's and with a DS4 controller.

Might try again later with the bb on -

IMO, the tail-happy nature with sure-footed AWD traction makes it a blast to drive and drift! I like my R34 with no aids but ABS, power up to ~450hp, level 1 weight reduction, slight lowering/stiffening of springs/shocks and Sports Soft. One of my favourites in terms of adjustability and driver involvement (esp. with clutch + shifter!).

If you're going for quick lap times, gotta keep it tidy, use brakes to manage weight to point the nose to the apex, then roll on the throttle to reduce wheelspin. If you're going for style, throw it into the corners, and mash the gas with (manual) countersteer. Fun!!!

Agree!!! The R32/34 is my favorite drift car. It's so controllable while sideways it makes you want to go on forever

I found with CSA off and TCS on but it just felt sluggish out of corners, like it wouldn't put power down.
I found mostly the the same issue because of the constant powersliding, but being more patient on the throttle helps. Weak CSA can help with stability, but I like to keep some of that oversteer on reserve in case I need it (read: powersliding to block opponents behind me) ;)

Ha... well, even with CSA the Skyline still powerslides like it's driving on ice

Anyway, no more from today :( what is the new one-make for today?
