Looking at the "Master Car List", I realize that there's no single car older than 2009. So I have some bad feelings telling me that GTS might be having the same disease as Driveclub, where 1987 Ferrari F40 was the oldest car (with a few more relatively "classic" cars as McLaren F1 LM, Lamborghini Diablo, Jaguar XJ220 - and all of those are in DLCs).

Talking about the previous "prologue" - GT5 Prologue - the oldest car there was the '96 Lotus Elise, if I remember it correct (not counting the '60 Art Morrison Corvette which was a lately tuned car).

Keeping in mind that GT Sport is heavily driven by FIA and the modern motorsport and seems to contain pretty small amount of road cars (all of the shown are modern), I suspect we won't see any '60-'70s classics like we had in GT6 (some of which were new to the GT series or came back from GT2).

What are your thoughts?

Would be nice to see some Group C Le Mans cars from the 80s: Mazda 787, Toyota Minolta, Mercedes C1...

Or maybe something like LM-GTP era cars (Toyota Gt One, Mercedes CLR...)

I wouldn't worry too much about the car list. It's what it will launch with. We know nothing with regards to possible DLC (free or paid). I'll assume they'll add more later, they always have with the PS3 titles.

None of the other pre-number games ( Concept, prologue etc) didn't have any vintage cars so that's answers the question about it for me . I think the vintage cars will come back to GT7 :)

Same. Also I think that all manufacturers presented in the game will have at least 5 cars. At least one car for every race group, since we will represent the manufacturer in races.

Kaz said at the Q&A that there will be dlc and updates after release, but didn't go into any detail as to what they might be. Though there was, of course, mention of monthly tracks with GT6 so keep that pinch of salt handy

This game is about newer cars, the future.
Normally the prologues and apparently GTS don't have any classics; certaintly, those will be in GT7.

Didn't Kaz make it sound that GTS = GT7?

He said during the Q&A that (paraphrasing) looking back at the game now, he could have called it GT7 as it had so many features. However, I don't know whether that means that GTS = GT7 or whether what we would think of as GT7 (more cars more tracks more everything) he will effectively be considering as GT8 (hope that makes sense). He doesn't consider GT Sport a "filler" if you like, but a full game.

I still believe after the winners of the national and manufacturers cup get their trophy - GT7 will be right around the corner.

...To answer the OP's question: we don't know what the full car list looks like yet. So wait a while until we have a clearer picture.

Fewer cars with a fewer selection.
It has come to my attention that with this PD is trying to "reboot" the series, 137 cars is even less than the first ever Gran Turismo had. With GTS coming out in November, i suppose it will take something like less than a year for GT7 to be announced/teased (probably the latter) .
Ps: even then, wuth GT7 i mean, i don't expect many cars given the current direction PD an its boys are following.

Remember that GT3 had only 180 cars and still is a great game. This is all about the selection of cars they make and from what I've seen GTS car list is going to be decent IMO.

I don't think so, from his words I understood that GTS is more than a prologue but it is not a full GT.

Actually I've read and interview recently (probably on this site) where he says that now when he see the content of the game he wished he would have call it GT7, well he doesnt exactly say that but he said he would have rather follow the series name until now.
