No Logitech G25 support? Seriously?

i just ordered one from Collective Minds in the UK, comes tomorrow as well guaranteed free post too at the moment.....

I saw this yesterday too when i was looking for Collective Minds. They are form Canada, it does not matter since I am in Europe lol but a bit more expensive and I already ordered mine. I hope I dont have too wait too long. I tested GT in VR, amazing :) surprisingly almost no motion sickness, actually nothing.

Received the Drivehub yesterday and set it up this morning. I have to say I am impressed by the product this far. Works flawlessly, detects my G25, and is quite flexible even when connecting/disconnecting the DS4 (for easier menu navigation etc). Only caveat seems to be that the DS4 is supposed to be turned off before reconnecting to the Drivehub. Not sure why.

All in all I would say that the money feels very well spent as I can now use my old wheel. Given the current state of consumer wheels (both Logitech and TM seems to get bashed for quality issues quite a bit these days), I am happy I can delay a new wheel purchase a bit longer. :)

A big thank you to @VBR for suggesting the Drivehub!

Well, I jinxed it apparently. Had the wheel disconnect during the middle of a session. Result = instant barrier crash. (Thank god it was only a time trial.)
Anyone else experienced this?
(Maybe I should post this in a Drivehub thread...)

I would check you cables, because ds4 must be connected for faking the "security chip". If it gets disconnected you get time-outed and your wheel disconnects. I use personally two controllers. One is charging (plugged in drivehub) and other is for photomode etc (I'm changing them depending on battery level, but you have to reconnect)

Like @Shinu said, make sure to use only high quality USB cables, the official one for charging the DS4 will do. If the DS4 isn't turned off, you might get disconnects from a game. Aslo, if you're playing Assetto Corsa, that game doesn't like wheels being plugged in & out. Always quit the game before fiddling with Drive Hub, your DS4, or wheel.

Well, this actually fits the situation a bit. We *had* disconnected the DS4, turned it on, used it for navigation, and subsequently reconnected it. I *think* we turned it off before doing so, but I am honestly not 100% sure. Also, the second time this happened, my son had been racing and I am not sure if he even thought to turn off the DS4 before reconnecting.

The puzzling thing though is that if that is the culprit, the time between reconnection of the DS4 and when the failure occurs is rather long. Both times we ran time trials for several laps (so at least 5-10 minutes) before the wheel disconnected.

I would really appreciate any help with this. I have contact with the Drivehub support as well and will let you know how it goes. As it stands though I am really nervous to have this happen in a race... The SR system is bad enough without steering wheel failures mid-race. :)

If the DS4 is on it will disconnect after 10 minutes.

Thanks!

There's something else going on here though. The Drivehub will intermittently disconnect in the menus. Have swapped cables, controller, played around with various startup sequences, the works. Still remains. Hoping support can sort it out in some way.
Thankfully, it has not happened during a race. Yet..

BTW - could a mod please change the title of the thread since it's now more about the Drivehub than my original complaint?
Perhaps add "(Yes, with Drivehub)" or something?

Remember to set communication method to USB instead of Bluetooth when controller is plugged on USB, then you don't have to even push power on to your DS4, just keeping it on end of cord and everything works fine.

Could that have an impact on the Drivehub functionality?

Some questions to the guys using g25/g27 with GT Sport.

What happens when you change the degrees of rotation on your wheel to 200 or 450?

Can you set pedal sensitivity, response curve and deadzones with any of the adaptors?

G25 is an older wheel, I used to have one until it broke and I ended upEdit getting a TMX which I use via the Drivehub (PS4 sees it as a 458 Italia T150). Works fantastic.

I have a spare DS4 that isn't even paired with the PS4 (I used it on PC via SCP) and it works as a passthrough with the Drivehub, it doesn't even turn on. You don't want the DS4 to turn on.
