Even in S you get a bit of argy bargy, but it’s not hard to obtain an S licence. If you can gold in the track experience then your times should be fast enough to negate any massive breaking point discrepancies vs your opponents.

Well yeah. Yesterday morning was a total mess - way too many torpedos. Got relegated from B to E in a few races... And in D and E it is a really, really ugly - people not using brakes at all, swerving all over the place (penalty system needs a lot of work) some deliberately hitting around. Been grinding all day now, just to come back to safer lands...

Was indeed bad weekend. Iam over 2 weeks S and today in 1 torpedo wreck fest race at the Ring i got so many contacts that i was down to B so comming week racing back to S i hope because the races are so bad compared to most S races......

I saved the replay from quali and it's brutal

Quali is always brutal because no one seems to grasp what you're supposed to do in quali.
Clearly no one watches real world motorsports. You sit back and create a gap for yourself, no one seems to do that in GTsport, they're only ruining they're own quali by tripping over one another!
Personally I just sit in the pit until everyone is out and the first guys are near the end of their lap. Gives me a nice clear track ahead so I can do my own times without being held up.

I went from s to b today. The racing has been really aggressive. Some my fault but many because of others, which in turn caused me to hit other people. Some people don't understand that it's not safe to pass at certain spots even if they feel they are faster than the guy on Front at that moment in time.

Nice if everyone learned this!

I have watched many qualifiers...but still mistakenly thought if I just get out in the first couple I will be with fast racers and won't get bogged down. Didn't always work though!

What changed is I saw a post similar to yours, and realised how much easier it could be! Works much better going out later - anybody waiting for the crowd to move generally has the same idea, and will leave a nice gap, some even leave the pits and wait for everyone to pass!

This, like most things, must be tempered by a practical sense of needing to get a good time in - you can't wait 5 mins for someone to leave pits, you won't get a QT in! I realised this after waiting a while, still not going out last, then getting a good 2nd lap in, but Final started seconds before finishing my great lap, that would prolly have been pole!

It's always a 50/50 chance if you are going to have clean race, no matter what race mode. I'm finding myself going to the private lobbies more and more. There's not as much at stake so it's less of a headache when somebody rams you. There's also room for actual conversation which is great fun.

Ironically, while I understand your point and agree tweaks could help, you also kind of demonstrate that the system DOES work! When you dropped down it was far worse than when you were higher! Its a GOOD system. It works very well. Compared to any other game. But we all crave perfection. I braked early and long on the outside of a turn to let someone through in quali who managed to still hit me somehow and I got an orange sr for it. So as I say, I agree it needs tweaking BUT......it is still a very good system imo.

Had a classic moment today. Waited for 50secs before leaving the pits.......and so had about 12-15 of the other racers! So we all ended up bunched up together by trying to avoid bunching up together!

If we cannot get people to understand that crashing and trying to run over you on the warm up lap BEFORE THE RACE STARTS is not the reason for a warm up lap as we are not yet racing do you really think that they will understand qualifying on a hot track with other cars?
