Hello everybody,
I hope this issue hasn't been covered before, but the sheer amount of threads was kinda overwhelming to check all of them. If so... Sorry in Advance.
My problem is, as described in the title, that my Atenza Gr. 4 (yeah yeah.. i know) has no power when I drive corners in first gear. It seems to be related with the steering. As soon as I'm steering more than 30% in either direction, the car wont accelerate anymore until I'm driving straight again.
I heard that there can be an issue similar to this, when the car is set too low and the tires will scratch the fenders, but everything besides turbo, transmission and the wheels is still in stock setup (the wheels still have default size, so tat can't be the issue). I even lifted the car to the maximum height, but nothing changed. I also set back all tuning to default. Nothing.
Funny enough it only happens in 1. gear. When I drive the same corner in 2. the car accelerates just fine. It also doesn't lose power when steering more than the mentioned 30%. I tried different setups on transmission, changed the tire angle (without really understand what I'm doing), hardend/softend the suspension. Nothing works. Every other group 4 car (with the same setup) I tried is doing just fine.
I'm completely lost on what to do, to prevent this.
Has anybody an idea where this problem could come from?
Ps.: I'm on PS5 and use a Thrustmaster 248 if this is relevant somehow.
