No sound from the speakers.

There's no sound coming out of my speakers. Help me. Everything's plugged in, unless there's something I'm missing..and there's no sound from anything. Tell me if I need to elaborate.

This happened to me, you have one speaker cord plugged into maybe the mic cord or something, un-plug and re-plug it.

I think ig you got a updated pair of speakers and a computer...if im right it goes..

I'm a dolt. I had unplugged the speaker cord from the back of the computer to put my headphones in, and then never put it back in.

My speakers are cool. On the front of the right speaker there is a button to turn it on and play with the volume and under it is a headphone jack.

Logitech Z640s look pretty good to me...and they're nice and cheap. Hopefully they can replace my old ****ty speakers on this laptop.

Custom computers do rule if you want a PC. My PC is still kicking ass compared to most home computers...

Because AMD chips are cheaper. Sometimes half as much as Pentiums for the same clock speed.

Well, compared to most people's computers. Its only the family PC anyway. I plan on getting a Mac.

Onboard sound for me at the moment, it sucks on this computer, but on the box I'm building at the moment the onboard sound is quite nice, A7N8X-X, Mmmmmmmmm.

Whats the point in spending a few hundred dollars on a sound card anyway?

You may need a sub woofer. My cousin's old speakers needed one.
