2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 - 7:37.796 (5 seconds quicker than the real official lap time)

100% stock on Sports Hard tires. Makes 514 horsepower, weighs 1421 KG, has 545 PP and had an oil change.

Okay that's everything updated, except can someone tell me if the Mugen S2000 and the Amuse S2000 GT1 are road-legal AND production cars? I've missed them out deliberately.

Oh and I also have mike_gt3's times to update and post on there, again some are dubious whether they're "legal" or not.

Heres some more

I don't know what the Amuse has as far as equipement, but the Mugen is just a car with upgrades added to it. All it had was Sport Exhaust and a Fixed Height Suspension kit, and these are things that come with the vehicle.

It's the same as, say, a Lingenfelter Corvette. It's just a Corvette that a company added parts to, but they keep it road legal and brand it as a different car.

Therefore, it would be unethical and against the rules for me to label that time as a being completed by an S2000, because as an S2000, it isn't stock.

However, it IS stock as a Mugen S2000. That's where the difference lies.

I've noticed it is getting to the stage where mike_gt3 is dominating these boards. His times are around 10% faster than mine. I'm not the fastest guy at Ring in the world but that's a big difference! (In a 2:00 lap he'd beat me by 12 seconds, or 1 minute every 10 minutes)! Not a complaint, just an observation.

I hope they were stock. I know for a fact that the Dodge Challenger and Mercury Cougar are limited to 120MPH, so if you widened the ratios to increase top speed that is not allowed. ;)

Oh, and updated except for mike_gt3's laps and the Amuse S2000. :)

I have two questions.

Are we allowed to try and replace times, like if I were to run an '08 M5 and get a faster time, would that car and time be deleted and replaced with mine?

Also, you mention that no production cars are allowed to change the torque distribution, but does that count the 2010 STi Sedan, seeing as it can do it stock?

And finally, the Ford RS200 is a factory produced street legal vehicle:

Wikipedia
The road-going RS200 was based on Ford's Group B rally car and was designed to comply with FIA homologation regulations, which required 200 road legal versions be built.

Yes, many of MY times have been replaced with mike_gt3's times. Any time that is beaten get's replaced. :)

Oh and I'll fix that for the RS200. :)

TVR Speed 6 '97

engine and chassis restored.

Sport Hard

7.42'701 (im pretty sure i can get this into the 7.30s with some more work)

the easiest way to see if mike_gt3 times are legit, get online with him in a free run room then get him to set them again.

all of my times have been set online, im pretty sure there is less grip, but it does seem more realistic.

They are all stock, i only added oil change for the car i bought used that needed an oil change, no tire change except for the RUF CTR yellow bird i added comfort hard in front to tame the oversteer. i did not played with any ratio.

I know nurburgring a lot as you can see i did a lot of laps lol
i have all the ghost replay saved, cars that hit redline on top speed you can keep throttle at 75%(for example) and you can squeeze may be like 2-3mph more. at WOT it will bounce the rev limiter too fast and go slightly slower...
same thing for acceleration, some cars have a 9500redline but dont need to go that high you lose power, i try to stay in their powerband.
I also used the H shifter for manual cars and paddles for automatic cars.

It would been useless to mod them to go faster too, i wanted to do an accurate database for fun, but i seen the thread and decided to post. :)

I dont know what to say for the times, i did the best i could, some required a good amount of laps to master them, some 2 laps was enought, or i didnt liked the feeling so didnt bother doing better... Some were a pain just getting a clean lap...

If theres a way i can send you the ghost replay i dont mind. :) i only do that to have good races, i can see which cars make some close race.

may be on this track, probably not on the other ones! :D
Doing all cars back to back really help learning a track lol

Can someone tell me if Mine's and Nismo's are road-legal production cars? It'd help if you also told me about Spoon and Amuse. I have everything updated apart from nervous' record-breaking Amuse S2000 lap and some of mike_gt3's laps (40+ or so).

All the Nismo i driven are street legal cars, Nismo is like Lingelfelter for corvette like someone said.

I decided to make a video of a run, i used the NSX type-R and did 7:45.809 wich is slightly faster than the previous time i posted, i still did some driving error it was hard to show the car was stock and then run all in one video with no cut, was kinda nervous and lost concentration.. lol

The run is vs a Jaguar XFR '10 that is on the list i posted.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBu5c1qF-2o

sorry for the quality, my Iphone didnt zoomed too well, and i forgot to show i use no aid, ABS 1 and handling set to ''realistic'' but you can see theres no aids that light up on the display while driving...

Now I believe you about all your times! Funny thing is, whenever I see videos like that I think I can do that that fast! But when I try I can't. :(

I've linked your video on to the board. :)

26. 07:45.809 - Honda NSX Type R '02 (mike_gt3)

Thx Bonobo4 :) yeah after looking at the video i was like Hmmmmm, it look easier than it was! lol

Okay, that's everything updated apart from a few dubious ones:

7:37.459 Nissan GRAN TURISMO 350Z RS
7:39.020 Opera Performance S2000 '04
8:07.201 Amuse S2000 Street Version '04
8:11.784 Spoon INTEGRA TYPE R DC2 '99
9:06.226 Toyota Ginetta G4 '64

1. What is the Toyota Ginetta G4? Do you just mean the Ginetta G4?
2. Are those others street-legal production cars?
3. The Amuse S2000 GT1, is it production and street-legal?
