You were warping all over the place, half the time your car was sideways in a barrier with sparks flying off it, then reappearing back on the track, then doing the same to the opposite barrier. It was pretty impossible to tell what line you were taking.
I waited and waited behind you for this very reason. I do remember running into the back of you on the second fast section (after the 3rd gear corner that goes under the bridge). This was again a result of you warping all over the track. I exited the corner with much more speed than you and was attempting to pass cleanly. I had to brake because your car suddenly appeared in front of me, although I still nudged you, you certainly didn't crash.
After that moment I did finally get past you and you took the first opportunity to steer directly into my rear, sending me into a spin and breaking yet more parts of my car.
The contrast is, I do all I can to avoid contact (even to the point of braking and staying behind someone) and when it does happen it's entirely accidental (and largely due to people warping all over the track, or driving in a dirty/wreckless manner). You clearly crashed into me deliberately on two occasions, whether you did it because you thought I rammed you or not still doesn't excuse that you did it deliberately.
I did not quit this race, I decided to stick it out this time and see where I ended up once I passed all the maniacs who love to deliberately ram and the lagging/warping drivers who cause accidents due to being in five different places on the track at once.
It took me around ten minutes to get into third and have some clear track away from such people. At this point I could finally assess my lap times and see if I had a chance at catching the leader (Kamy). His car was running a couple of seconds per lap faster than mine so I knew I wouldn't catch him unless he made a mistake, I just continued to drive for the fun of it.
Yesterday I did quit from the race for the same reasons that ruined today's race. Receiving a five second penalty at the start because someone was afk and didn't move was a bad start and the ramming was even worse afterwards, since I received multiple penalties for people either deliberately braking on a straight for no reason (collision) and being shunted off the track (shortcut).
The other day when I won, it was half because I managed to weave through the wrecks on the grid and get into the first corner before anyone else. This meant I got to take the early fast section at full speed. Had I not made any mistakes no one would have caught me as just being ahead at the first corner is worth 20-30seconds. That race ended up a good one, with myself and ProPersian duking it out for multiple laps (cleanly) with no crashes or accidents between us despite being right next to one another and exchanging places multiple times over multiple laps.
Racing cleanly is possible, you just have to put the effort in.
This post ended up quite long, but there's nothing to miss out
