Endurance runners are deciding to throw it back to the retro years where it all started. We're planning on having a tournament where ONLY cars from Gran Turismo 1 and Gran Turismo 2 are allowed to partake in. This means no GT-R, no LMP's, No Redbulls, NO VGT's. Just Gran Turismo Classics! (Premium and Standard) We will also be racing on Classic original Gran Turismo tracks. Only difference, it's an endurance race series and there will be Two Classes.

Race Procedures​
-We will start with a 10 - 20 minute practice.
-After the practice everyone will run their Qualifying Laps.
-Since we are sticking to classic Gran Turismo methods, there will not be a Pace lap or Pace Car so be careful coming out off the grid.
-Grid start will be normal without any false grid start check.
-ATTENTION GT ALL STAR STREET CLASS If you happen to qualify faster than a car in the GT ALL STAR RACE CLASS please let them pass by so it doesn't cause a pile up at the start.
-All people are welcome! We're just here to have fun and drive GT classics! This is a semi-serious/casual Series so don't worry about if you accidentally trade paint with someone.
-However, Dirty Driving WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! Ramming, dive bombing, blocking, Driving backwards, taking massive shortcuts will result in a DQ from the series and a kick out of the room and the "Endurance Runners" Club. I will be watching the replays multiple times after every race to ensure this series is clean and fair.

No Base model cars allowed (Unless stated in cars permitted)
I Don't want to sound petty and nit-picky, but to keep this series looking old fashioned, All cars MUST be painted in it's factory colors. (No Painting it in GT Auto. Sorry Guys)
*Note* Talk to me if you want to use a certain color for a car, there will be some exceptions I can make.

-Aero Parts (Spoiler, Flat Floors, bumpers, etc.) are PROHIBITED We do this to keep the stock look.
-No numbers on street cars
-Max PP: 585 pp
-Max HP: 575 HP
-Minimum Weight: 1,100 kg

Hey there, just providing a bit of feedback:

The idea looks cool, I'm definitely interested but time will tell if I can attend or not, This can be a fun little series if you get everything right.
I do think that you shouldn't limit yourself to the limitations that the original games faced, I would attempt to fill the entire lobby with 16 drives, 8 in each class or 16 in one class. 10 minute races may not be long enough to have a well fought out battle so I would go for 20 to 30 minute events if this is a weekly thing. Some food for your thought :)

The GT ALL STAR Street Class will mostly look like this on account a lot of the cars in the old GT games were Japanese. The GT ALL STAR Racing Class will be the Racing Modifications/GT500/Rally cars.

Backup room host
I don't want to be the one, "if I can't make the event it's not happening" type person. I'm going to need two backup room hosts just in case I cannot make it to a series race I scheduled. I want y'all to race regardless if I'm there or not. Also, if I schedule the race at 10:00 A.M. Don't wait for me to open up the room. Whoever the 2 backup hosts are, one of y'all can open the room up if there is no room open 15 minutes after race start.
(i.e. race starts at 10:00 A.M EST. I'm still sleep, backup room host has right to open room up at 10:15)

The points will be arranged in the following way for both classes​

1st. 25 Points
2nd. 20 Points
3rd. 16 Points
4th. 14 Points
5th. 10 Points
6th. 8 Points
7th. 4 Points
8th. 2 Points​

It would be on weekdays since it seems all the other popular events are held on weekends. And it be held around 1 p.m - 2 p.m EST

The official date of the first race is still TBD as we don't have enough people yet to start. but our times match up exactly, lol go figure :P. So 2:00 P.M here would be 2:00 P.M where you are.
