INTRO, Hello all, so I wanted to run a special F1 prediction thread that would also involve some special other predictions that will gain the winners prizes that are only unique to this championship and one off predictions outside of F1 (e.g. 24h of Le Mans, Indy 500 etc.). So have fun make sure to enter your choices each week to have a better chance at the final prize.

RULES.
  1. Only one submission per GP for each user, you can edit it before the deadline but if you enter more than once you will be DQ.
  2. You must fill in all the required slots for chance at the most amount of points per GP weekend.
  3. Make sure to pay attention to the countdown clock and send your predictions in before sheet is closed.
  4. Predictions unless noted otherwise end before Q1 starts
  5. Make sure you also post your prediction for the pole time as well, this helps you be in the running for the pole award.
  6. Optional but recommended is also predicting who you think will have the fastest lap of the race and the lap time. This will gain you five points if predicted correctly.
  7. Depending on when WCC championship ends is when winner will be crowned, GP championship will run all the way to the end of F1 season.
  8. Only one person can win the grand prize per championship, thus there will be tie breakers as follows: In case of tie number of wins will be used, then number of poles will be used, then fastest race laps, finally overall pts at the time of crowning.
  9. Though there is only one winner per championship that can be the same user for both.
  10. Submit form is the only way to enter prediction, if you enter a fast lap and/or pole lap time but no form you will not be entered.
  11. To win a GP weekend you must get the most points for both parts of the predictions and not just the GP.
Points Awarding

Weekends to look out for: 24h of Le Mans, Indy 500, Brickyard 400, Petit Le Mans, Bathurst 1000.
*If you have suggestions for other potential highlight weekends let me known, however a good number of users must also agree.

Thanks guys but don't forget that you can have an opportunity for extra points, as stipulated by the rules, Wardez is the best example of this. Good luck to you all 👍

EDIT:
@Wardez , @Anghammarad , and @Brutaka so very sorry guys, I forgot to add back the enter GTP user name when I was fixing it earlier so I will need you to redo your sign ups. I am so very sorry for the inconvenience.

After the decisions of the FIA to exclude RBR and Daniel Ricciardo from the points after yesterdays GP the new GP weekend winner is @Akmuq. While @F1analyzer retains second place but with a much bigger points haul and @Anghammarad comes third with 15 total points overall. The current WCC leader is @Anghammarad and @Akmuq leads the GP championship.

Once again to find out your info further please refer to the link above. Also if you want to you can now submit your predictions for the Malaysia GP and have up until the start of Q1 to do so.

Just a reminder that you have till the start of Q1 to post your predictions this GP weekend @Wardez, @Akmuq, @F1analyzer, @tbwhhs or you'll lose out on any points. Also anyone else is free to join the submit a prediction as well and have an opportunity to win championship prizes.

Just submitted my picks. Thanks for the reminder, I had thought I missed the deadline for some reason I thought it was the start of FP1.

Here are the picks from this GP Weekend, thanks again and see you for Bahrain which starts end of this week

2014 Malaysian GP Predictions

Congrats to the winners and hope to see you all again and maybe more joining us. The predictions sheet is now open for the Bahrain GP. Also images of the ultimate prize will start showing themselves within the next month so you all have an idea of what your trying to win beyond the prizes mentioned already.

A question though. The WCC part, is it per race or the accumulated standings?

Well the WCC part is based on that weekends standings after the race and I feel it will probably only go about halfway through the season before I grant the winner. So if this is successful and you lot enjoy the prize I have hidden so far and will show then I'll leave it up to you guys if I bring it back next season. I hope that answers your question if not you can specify a bit more. Anyways good job and a smashing victory.
