I know I wasnt offically in it i just wanted to see what it was like and how it works with out a privet room, but I must say that was freaking awsome! me and Terbeaux had 2 very very close finishes I think one I got him buy like .002 talk about a drag race to the finish! well any how I'll try to make it offical next time as that was some of the most fun Ive had online in a long time! my thanks to Oo_xVx_oO for urging me to come, and I'm glad my help in set up worked out good for yah, lol we got 1 2 a few times.

Cup series results (as always, please verify):

Race 1 (X:30):
1. Vaxen
2. TwistyBits
3. Brakefade
4. Kumabar

Race 2 (X:42):
1. Brakefade
2. Vaxen
3. Kumabar
4. Twistybits

Race 3 (X:54):
1. Brakefade
2. Vaxen
3. Kumabar
4. Twistybits (not sure what happened -- hosted, but never moved)

Race 4 (X:06):
1. Brakefade
2. Kumabar
3. Vaxen (D/C at start) -- looked like a host disconnect from my perspective, but adjusted as per Kumabar's post below

Race 5 (X:18):
1. Vaxen
2. Kumabar

Makeup (X:30):
1. Vaxen
2. Brakefade
3. Kumabar

Note on the makeup race: there was some interference by an F40 at the end, that essentially allowed me to retain the lead over Brakefade at the end. I propose our positions be swapped for this last race.

Nah man, race is a race. Keep your spot. I'll just beat you when we get private rooms. :sly:

That F40 guy was such a jerk. I could see him bumping into you when he clearly could've made the pass.

EDIT: Congratulations to Kuma on winning the championship!!

The racing was very tight as always. Anyone could have one any of our races.

It was very hard to pass here, and the draft effect tended to bunch up the pack on every straight. Though the car is a pig, the racing was a blast!

The racing was a blast I agree, but being the slowest car in a field of sharks and morons was the real challenge.
OH I forgot the F40, he was the worst example, did he got you guys too? I stopped because of him, He just braked my nerves.

Yeah, but in the end justice prevailed.

Earth if I get a podium could you add "(TLD)" after my name? I used nd4holdenspd's (The Lion's Den) tune. I just couldn't deal with this car crappyness, and driving it lap after lap trying to set it up myself. Awesome tune BTW.

Are we very far away from sponsers? Hired drivers?

:bowdown:KNEEL BEFORE ZOD!!:bowdown: LOL Thank you so very much for the craziest setup I've ever driven. I hope you can hang around with us for next season.

Terbeaux, so sorry for ramming into you at turn 1 race#2 - I was admiring your braking point and racing line that I somehow got fixated and braked late. I kept checking back for you down the straight so I could let you pass but I successively got lucky by catching slipstream after slipstream.

crazy yes but it drove pretty good no?

O and definatly count me in for the next season if its still open on what car to use my votes on the blitz 750PP :D

For the next tournament, can we please make sensible car choices. No more rustangs, RX7, or anything that's half gimped. Or better yet, why not let the players pick whatever car they want to use as long as it's within the PP limit?

I kinda like the idea of one make, it lvls the playing feild. I'm up for what ever car as long as its not AWD thats just boring I wanna drive the car not steer it :sly:

Yeah, I was admiring the setup as well. When following you, I'd see you get the rear end all mixed up and I'd think, "Ah ha, I got a run on him now" and then you'd stinkin' pull me even though my line was perfect and I wasn't hanging the rear out. I spent all race #4 and race #5 trying to figure out what the heck was wrong with my setup. I think I was running to much rear toe in, which wasn't good on a track with long straights... So yes, that indeed was quite the setup.

And thanks for the apology on the bump. I braked a bit too late, so I was already running deep and then got punted. I kinda expected you to wait, but that's racing...

Terbeaux.

On the contrary, I thought you had it perfect. But thanks man. Regarding the car. One thing I learned from our race in London with the Elise 96 was to set TCS high to get some much needed traction around the curves. I set mine at 7 and turned it back down to 0 once I cleared the final turn. Surprisingly the car behaved well at this setting and I picked up speed at every corner especially at 300R. It's still a full second slower than my average, but it's great defense against punters.:):)

I thought youre set up looked good. What I saw is i manily got you in gearing

Ok, I was a lazy boy but now it's time for videos!

First seconds of the first video, the presence of Cuda in the pack made me scream Noooo!!! hehehe not really, I was surprised and to be honest, dissapointed, that so many people outside GTP joined. Mustangs are not cars to be driving around AWDs, they are sitting ducks for punters, as you'll see on the rest of the videos. BTW Loved the battles with all of you guys, thanks!

Sorry for any bumps that I gave during the races, they where caused by the poor braking on this car and lack of anticipation from me. Any of those were intentional, sometimes I went for the penalty instead of the hit, but not always :guilty:
