which cars can have number plates ? can the mustang v8 gt coupe 07. mustang svt cobra 00, or the vette grand sport (4) 96 have number plates? The circle with black outline works well with the US muscle cars from the 60 to early 70's ,The Circle plate with no outline works well with cars from europe same timeline

As Mr Grumpy said, premium cars only - i.e. only those with a detailed interior and animated tachometer and speedometer / gallery view.

Hopefully GTS and later games will have changeable numbers for all cars. There are a few premiums which already have a race number, but it can't be changed such as the Ferrari 330 P4 and Ferrari 250 GTO. There is also one with a blank white roundel - the Cobra Daytona Coupe and a few premium cars which sadly can't have a number fitted such as the Art Morrison Corvette, Renault 8 Gordini and the Plymouth (can't remember its name, but its from 1960 and used to be owned by the Shah of Iran) - a shame because we have used all those cars in race series and the numbers greatly aid realism and identification.

In my series I standardise on Type A font A - the white circle with no black surround because I find that the option with a black surround (Type B font A) doesn't photograph well.
