I will sign up and I'll do everything I can to get there. I don't know what car I'll run though. Probably get home from work at 8:45pm BST. Will set a car up before hand.

Any suggestions? I'm getting the feeling I should be picking something that can hit 180 along the straight for starters!
 
Any chance the weight could be 1290kg instaed of 1300kg? I hate to ask, but I'm not sure what car to run. Thinking of a yellow hat supra but with ballast it will only be 1290kg. Feel free to say no. I have a lambo nomad I could use if I had to. Could try a couple other things too.

really want to keep the limit at 1300kg. I know its quite heavy but there are still plenty of cars to use.

Any suggestions on cars to run? I have a Nomad Diablo but I'm getting through a set of tires a lap!

SuperGT cars are banned...
 
i'd really like to enter but 1300kg is ridiculous, please consider a more reasonable weight limit.
 
I must have missed the bit where it said super gt's were banned. Is the diablo one of them?

What about a tom's supra? That would get up to weight. Not sure if it can make 550hp mind but that's ok.
 
Quick question, if I'm managing near 7 minute laps, is that good?

Also is rain going to appear / has a chance of appearing?
 
would be nice to have a list of GT / VLN cars which would be accepted...
i'm in, no idea what car im going to use tho
 
I've just tuned up a pretty basic car,, and it feels like a rocket round the 'ring, not saying what yet though, also are we sure about all tyres are legal? Racing softs seem to last forever (3 laps, no issues at all) on my car...

Can you share with me what you are using? I'm killing racing hards in one lap! I'll have to stop 9 times to finish this race and I'm not exactly flying along either!

(if you don't want a field of 16 of your cars, you can sneakily pm me!)
 
Which cars are and are not banned? Will duplicates be allowed? I do not see were any cars are disallowed.

Not sure what you're using, but that's REALLY quick tyre degredation... Tell me what you're using, 'cause I like my car too much to say what it is yet... Maybe reduce the camber? Increase ride height? My camber settings are no larger than 2.5 at the moment, if you're using higher settings then it might be the cause of the tyre wreckage.

Page 1, I guess you can get it to 550BHP and 1300kgs then?

Also I'd like to know what a good time is, I'm getting sub 7 mins consistently now, in the dry, on Racing softs, anyone else got vague lap times they'd like to share?

Can you please clarify the rules a bit more in the 1st post? There are too may questions in me about what cars can you use, what driving aids are allowed, etc, etc...

(ps: If there is any aids allowed please don't count with me)

Good set of rules. Of course, I'd prefer racing hards to softs, but that's me...can't have everything...
