Well, this is my first write up. This will be updated over the next few days as I do the Nurburgring 24 hour.

Car: Nissan 350Z LM, I am using this car, as I am not real good at Nurburgring, so I want a car thats a bit faster than the rest of the field.

Tuesday testing went well, I did a few laps around the Nurburgring, one was a 6:40, a time I could probably beat very easly after some more laps of the 'ring.

Wednesday I was getting used to driving the car, one of those methods was doing the Laguna Seca Enduro, even though the AI cars are road cars. :dopey:
1:03
ThursdayI'm just getting ready for some runs of the 'Ring now.

Friday, well, todays the day. The race stsarts in 29 minutes. I'll give updates as much as I can. Wish me luck!

Race has begun. I've done the first hour, B-Spec is doing an hour now. It is now lap 10 and the time is 1:01

Field
1st Nissan Fairlady Z Concept LM Race car
2nd BMW M3 GTR Race car +4'33.657
3rd Opel Calibra Touring Car +5'42.023
4th AMG Mercedies 180 E Evolution Touring Car +6:37.478
5th Nissan C-West Razo Silvia +1lap
6th Spoon S2000 Race car +1 lap

Race Update, my shameful short attention span and lack of patience kicked in and I put B-Spec on 3X speed. :grumpy: I'll be back on the hot seat in 40 minutes. :)

Time 10:20

Field
1st Nissan Fairlady Z Concept LM Race car
2nd BMW M3 GTR Race car +5 Laps
3rd Opel Calibra Touring Car +7 Laps
4th AMG Mercedies 180 E Evolution Touring Car +8 Laps
5th Nissan C-West Razo Silvia +11 Laps
6th Spoon S2000 Race car +16 Laps

I have learned the Ring quite well now, although i tend to get a bit ragged at the bottom section about a minute before the last concrete section. I end up taking too many 3 gear corners, er, flat out in 4th..

Yeah, theres alot of confusing corners. Hopefully after this race I will have Nurburgring masterd, or atleast be able to do alot cleaner laps.

I haven't quite got the Nurb down, but I know all the danger area's and I rarely go off, but I still forget where I am occasionally.

I did a few laps today and they were all clean except for one, which was a pretty good run.

I've done this enduro, only a few hours in A-Spec.

Radicool02 - I used this car, it's WAY to good for the field, you should probably find something a bit slower.

I plan to do this race soon in the M3 race car.

Yeah, I know the 350Z LM is alot faster, but I just want to be safe. If I crash I don't want to fall behind and loose. It'd be ok if it was a track I knew well, but this is Nurburgring

Ok, but be warned you will lap the field god knows how many times....

Too many.

How much bhp does it have? I'm setting up the Audi Red Bull Touring Car for my race and i think it has around 614bhp (including stage three N/A tune). Once i've finished playing with the settings and everything ill post em up on my own write up. I know this may seem a bit like me copying you but i'm gonna write it up as im doing it coz me and my friend are taking turns to do 1:30.00 shifts. I like this new write up section. I find it to be a really good source of information especially this thread.

I'm actually suprised how many of you don't know the ring.
I'm familiar with every single conrer by this state. :D I've driven really, really many laps...maybe too many!

Well I started the race today, I was about 30 seconds ahead of the field in a worse car (I'm used to the ring now) and I decided to let my B-Spec driver have a stint or two, within 2 minutes he was in 4th ... so that ruined that 24 hour attempt, so I got angry and decided to use the R8 (I just want another F1 car, my old one is screwed now...)
