"Obecalp" pills

A woman has recently 'invented' "Obecalp" pills. If you have not guessed already, that is the reverse spelling for the word placebo. It is said to be a cure for all sorts of small things for children, such as stomachaches and the like. They will (if not already) be selling for $6 per box (amount currently unknown).

It sounded like a good idea at the time, but what worries me is that not only will parents be lying to their children about these pills (creating distrust), but it could possibly teach children that pills are the cure for everything.

This opening post is not very well-written as I am short on time, but I ask for your opinion on what these pills can or will really do...

Maybe if parents feed their kids properly then they won't get stomach aches. (Not saying all parents feed their kids poor diets, but there's a reason why so much of the new generation is so obese).

That seems kinda over board, why can't kids have stomach aches, parents should definately not turn to some pill everytime there kid doesn't feel well. I've had plenty of stomach aches in my time and still get the odd one and I don't think I needed to take some pill because of the horrendous pain involved.

I think part of it to is that now there is a new generation of parents and the generation is full of lazy people, instead of having to worry about their headache of a kid and help them everytime they have a stomach ache they can just give them a 'super' pill that fixes everything.
