skyline s-tune on the nurburgring
M3 csl on grand valley
impreza wrx sti on costa di amalfi

they are my suggestions 👍

Woohoo! Count me in :D. Now I just have to find some time to actually do the race inbetween all the work that I have to do next week. Can't wait.

Exellent car that one, would be better on el capitan than the ring.

Lee.
Hmm, yeah perhaps. Less straights on Capitan, and it would shine since it handles so well.

I'll probably be happy with the qualifier, as long as it's not at New York. I hate the way PD made the track, the braking points are very vague to me; I can't get a feel for the track.

The car should be in the 250-350hp range if you ask me. Nothing too fast/challenging, yet nothing too slow.

I'm all for El capitan. It's easy. I personaly like the Evo at Midfield idea, just for nostalgia. Perhaps that could be the first weekly.

FR at El Capitan or Infineon would be an ideal combo for a qualifier. The tracks have some great technical turns but arent hard to learn 👍.

i have 3 suggestions...

TVR T350c at FISCO(fuji) 2005 GT

Chevy Camaro SS at Infinion Stock car course
and a little bit of a vintage track

Audi S4 at Deep forest.

While I'm sure Kent may appreciate all the suggestions, I'd like to defer to his vast experience as a Race Administrator and implicitely trust that the combination he comes up will be challenging and a true litmus test of WRS qualification.

I patiently await the Qualifier...

Hello,

First off,
From this time forward the WRS is going to be strictly a GT4 based sub-forum of the GTP... All threads reffering to the GT3 WRS have been moved to the archive.

Some major changes are going to occur with the switch to GT4 in the WRS.
The primary change worthy of noting is that the previous registered drivers list is being trashed and all drivers will need to qualify for the GT4 WRS.

Regarding the qualifier...

On monday the 28th of March I will post a qualifier race to establish division rankings for the switch to GT4.

I'm not revealing the race yet. :sly:

The best of luck to all of you.

Please feel free to make suggestions regarding what the race should be. ;)

Ahhhh good to seeing you Kent 👍

I got my GT4 game yesterday and I'm now busy with the special licenses.I was looking forward to this moment 👍

Do we need something for the first race? Money, a car, a specific track? or is it gonna be an arcade race 👍

Cheers,

Thanks NQ, I greatly appreciate such kind words. :sly:

I will be sure to keep what you have said in mind so that I can keep suggestions in mind but still be an independant thinker. 👍

Only 1 day till I post it... (sorta... I may do it tonight at midnight my time which will actually be monday morning ;) )

clio at opera paris! hehe

just drove that in the euro hot hatch damn good fun it was too!

After S-12, suzuka has worn thin on me. Great track 👍, hard to get clean fast time 👎

My vote is still El capitan

I love Suzuka, great track 👍...But I was thinking more along the lines of Motegi East short course, it's quite short but also nice and challenging, could be a good judge of speed.

Why is everyone making such a big deal about the qualifier?

Last one was on the track I knew best and I was thrown in with the D1 guys from the start and basically annilated. I'll be sandbagging this one for sure. :dunce:

Besides, I doubt there will be many changes in division. The fast guys are always fast and the rest of us... well... we try. :boggled:

some div 1 guys may not be div1 anymore, and drop down to div2.

this is a great way to restructure the divisions a bit to give best results for everybody.

But yes the fast guys are fast and the rest of us, we try.
