I'm sorry, I didn't know it was you two. I'm still fairly new to GTA Online and I'm used to everybody that I pass by trying to kill me so that was a defence mechanism.

I kill 90% of people I encounter, but never kill friends or crew members. Just look for a light-blue ring around the player dot, that means they're in the GTP crew.
