So there's more?!?! YES!
Of course! Do you really think they'd reveal the whole game on their web site?

I wonder what the "start engine" noise is doing there....restart the car after stalling!???

OMG hit all the "gas blipping" sounds at once, it's insane.

We need translations, straight away.

For those having trouble viewing the cars:

It's a large Flash movie and you have to give it time to load everything into cache. The Flash can still be loading even after it appears the web page is done loading. I'm using Safari and in the status bar at the bottom of the window it still said 'Loading item 284...' long after the page had finished loading and the first car's image was displayed.

The first time I loaded it I got a blank page, I think it tried to display before the first car's images had been loaded into cache. I reloaded the whole page and clicked on Cars again and it worked fine. Maybe give it 30 seconds or so before you click on the next car.

Enjoy

I did give it time to load but maybe it wasnt enough.

it's saying image not available on all cars and saying undifined after each manufacturer eg BMW undefined '01 theres a sillouhette which is the same for all cars :grumpy:

It's crazy to see NOB S15 race against CLK-GTR in TC

Nice detail, old fashioned pilots.

It looks like Tahiti got a make over too and if you go to the Dome DOME ZERO '78 you can see Monaco / Cote D Azur has had the same star treatment.

And finally, the Nike clue is solved. I saw a file on the BMW demo called nike....!? But i didnt now there was a nike car!? But GT4 is not coming in december in Europe :( Whyyyyyyyyy PD????????? ****

What's the bet someone launches something on the net that you can print off and show to an EyeToy to unlock the Nike Car?

The "Cars" and "Tracks" section of the site won't work for me... anyone know what the problem might be?
Yes, they are very large Flash files. Give them time to download, especially the cars. There are about 364 cars (one per day for a whole year) with three images for each, so wait for it to finish. I hate Flash files and streamed files...

Cheers,

MasterGT

I wonder what there like for driving? I would be interested if there a good mix between a driving and a walking shoe.

Nike. Perhaps the most recognized name in athletic gear and athletic accessories... and the designers of this car? At first, I thought the Toyota MTRC was the most futuristic-looking car in this day and age. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I don't think the car is ugly. Actually, I think this car is more futuristic than anything I've seen. By taking a look at the car, I thought it was one of those wild ships in the "WipeOut" series. It was almost like I was riding in one of those Feisars or one of those Pirahna ships around Katmoda 12 (WipeOut Fusion). I don't know the stats on this Nike Experimental Car, but it's very insane. Just look at that bad boy! It looks like you're piloting... well, a Wipeout-style anti-gravity racing ship. The only thing is that you don't have weapons on it or any loops or jumps. Another example this reminds me of is like the game "San Francisco Rush 2049."

If you ask me, I like this thing. It's a machine that will probably be how vehicles may look come 2050 or something. Maybe CobraGT would come up with his own car line then (or would you, Cobra sir?). I think it will be fun to race this machine. My only thing is, I don't know too much about specifications. I'm pretty sure it's a mid-engined car. It may have front or rear drive. I think it may be like front drive because the front tires are spread out more; but then, it could be rear drive to get the rear end for the task of rear-end ass-hauling. I'll have to read more about it. But I'm surprised Nike would enter this motorsports deal. If they been doing this for a while, I'm sorry, but it's new to me. What's next? A Nike LMP sportscar?

By the way, so THAT is the Lotus Carlton (https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=47389)?

I'd be willing to bet good money that the Nike One '22 will actually debut in person later, as with what happened with the MTRC.

But will they have it as a concept or as a standard road car? My bet is concept ...

And who in their right mind would build a car that looks like a shoe?

After Japanese-Aus currency conversion that shoe bundle would cost roughly $420Aus.

Do you race?

Concept.

Nike.

... They can't be serious. Or do Nike Airs now come with five-speed 'box and engine for however much they cost? And besides, it just looks like a giant advertising billboard given that it loks like a large shoe. Hope it's not one of the "best" cars to ahve in the game or only available in Arcade mode.
