Nice job Lessen. That pass at the end of lap 3 through S's on Raw was a nice watch. Good race.

Battles begin to develop early

TomMang attempts an outside run on pakicote with NOVA and DoublePass closing in.

3 way battle for 1st place develops between pakicote, TomMang, and NOVA, with DoublePass closing in.

DoublePass gained the necessary ground, and makes a clean inside pass on NOVA and TomMang for 2nd place.

pakicote holds a comfortable lead on the field.

NOVA regained 2nd place....

But not without a fight from DoublePass who makes another run to the inside off the straight.

NOVA fends off the attacks and secures a solid grip on 2nd place.

pakicote rounding the last corner to take first place.

with NOVA clearing it for 2nd shortly after.

DoublePass crossing the finish line to round out the top 3.

Snail "Short Train" coming through.

UserID and NOVA running nose to tail

DoublePass in the lead, with pakicote, TomMang, and kickenit4evr threatening.

Train rolling through the high speed S-curves.

UserID runs a bit wide coming out of the tunnel giving up a position to NOVA.

UserID, unwilling to give up a position so easily, puts the fight back on NOVA to the inside as both try to gain ground on kickenit4evr.

pakicote raising the heat on DoublePass for 1st place with TomMang wanting a shot at it as well.

The pressure finally forces a mistake, with pakicote, TomMang, and kickenit4evr each earning an advance.

TomMang holding on to 2nd place with DoublePass, kickenit4evr, and NOVA nipping at the heels.

NOVA clears kickenit4evr for 4th while TomMang continues to fend off DoublePass for 2nd.

TomMang on the inside with NOVA setting up to make a run.

NOVA brakes early and switches to the inside on the final turn gaining a good run on TomMang going onto the straight for a drag race to the finish line.

This was the photo finsh and the difference for 2nd place. Congrats to pakicote on the commanding victory.

UserID closing in on NOVA.

kickenit4evr executing a perfect breaking zone pass on NOVA. It was a great pass worthy of a few shots.

NOVA tries to put the heat back on kickentit4evr and makes the pass, with UserID and TomMang ready to pounce at the slightest mistake.

And, it happens. NOVA runs a little wide on the exit of the last turn, nipping the curbing that sends him spinning. kickenit4evr, UserID and TomMang all are rewarded with a postion.

TomMang and kickenit4evr in a heated 1 on 1.

pakicote runs wide on the last corner sending him into the grass, and User ID into 1st place.

kickenit4evr and TomMang trying to close in on pakicote through the s-curves.

3 wide coming up to turn 1.

UserID for the win, with TomMang and kickenit4evr for 2nd and 3rd.

Great night of racing with this group albeit a small field. What we lacked in numbers, we made up for in intensity. Great job to everyone in D3.

Why can't we put a number on the G37? The thinking at PD makes my head want to explode. They give us the ability to put numbers on cars, but only premium. Okay, I get that, the graphics and whatnot. So why not all premium cars? What decision is made where the conclusion is to not give some cars numbers? There's no reason not to. It's mind bogglingly stupid. Sorry, I had to rant this somewhere. I really like customizing my cars.

My guess is it has something to do with the texturing. Standard cars have much lower resolution textures, just rolled over from previous GT games. The layout of the model for texturing could be different from the way they used to do them too.

Besides, you make a massive deal out of numbers on cars. Is it that big of a deal?

Just as a heads up for banners pics, try not to cram the car into the full frame of the image. Have a look at previous banner pictures, and you'll see that the pictures typically have the car taking up half the frame or less, and the subject of the picture (the car), is offset and not right in the center. It will help give me more options for banners!

Also, to help ease load times on the page, can you please edit your post @Raw10_2u to remove the duplicate images. There are several in there. Thanks!
