"Oh crap!" moments

I have a pretty good one. I was racing at Trial Mountain in the Crossfire Cup and had just finished the first lap with a pretty big lead. When all of a sudden I lost control, or controler I should say. "Oh crap," the batteries died in my cordless logitec controler. I couldn't pause or anything so I scrambled to look for more batteries. I found some and put them in the controler, by this time I was nearly as far behind as I was previously in the lead. I made a pretty good lap and just barely passed the first place car before the finish. I'll post a couple of pictures tommrow if I can remember.

Hey guys, If you want to make an oh crap moment, then go to mission hall with the race on the skylines in test course. Get up to about the first turn and then swerve in front of another skyline so he clips your rear end, about halfway through the first turn. If done correctly, you will start flying up in the air and spinning around really fast. I managed at least 15, 360's.

bump?

a couple bad landings to get this going again....

my 206 moments before hitting the ground, spinning out of controll and slamming into the wall:

and (yes, i know this isnt GT4, but still....) a double engine and hydrolics failure in my DC-3:

Heres mine

lol, had that happen many times......hate it when your flying up that hill and you dont land the second jump with enough brakeing space left and get launched into the wall......

the A.I thought that I wouldn't be able to overatke him... well he can think again :dopey:
Hahaha, that made me laugh! :D 👍

Hmmm, seem to have gone a bit fast - better slow down a bit or i'll end up on the grass.

Woah! Can't slow down enough - i think that guy just pushed me a bit too!

This is great. Just great.

Why is that guy taking photo's? He should be diving out of the way!

Yeah... you run away... i'll get you back...

ARRRRGGGGHHH!!! I've hit the wall!!!

Oh. I just missed. That was lucky. I wasn't scared. Not a bit. ... :scared:

Get out of my way! Gotta get that white car back!

Cornering hard, nearly caught up to him!

GOTCHA!!! Kinda.

Unfortunately he kept going and i spun out. Rule of thumb: revenge isn't sweet - its sour!

this is what happens when doing a time trial around trial mountain in a high powered Supra without any driving aids going a bit wide into a corner clipping the dirt and this is the aftermath...

brakeing a little bit late and a bit wide, beginning to slide:

still sliding will it ever stop....:nervous:

first contact with the wall still moving:

airborne after hard contact with the wall spinning around:

finally coming back down to earth:

A lot of people have posted instructions on how to pop wheelies at Test Curse, so that's exactly what I did. Unfortunately none of them mentioned what happens when you reach the bend and the front wheels aren't touching the ground... :dunce: , then :scared: , then :ouch: , then  ,then :ill: , then :yuck:

This is the last time I let Oingo Boingo revalve my shocks...

I've got millions of pictures of Lotus Europas in this position....

Ride height on this Ford GT is set too high - it's causing too much understeer.

This one speaks for itself.....

while testing the Yellowbird on the 'ring, i clipped the dirt with my right rear tyre tunring into Metzgesfeld and nearly spun out.......corrected and recovered to complete a lap with a time of 7'43.625
