My friends and I have been racing online for the last few months and we pretty much stick to standard racing, usually on sports softs and above tires.

Now I've decided I want to mix things up a little and give drifting a shot.

So, as a complete noob I'll likely be setting up a lounge to practice at some point in the future where I can practice safely on my own but, if you do happen to see my room and you do join, I'll be thinking of you as I spin into the back of you!

I'll be reading through the tips and trying to find a beginners guide but just wanted to say...Hi.

Hi man, and welcome to the Drift area of GTP. Be carefull though; there's some weird folk around here....lol

Have fun; dont give up (its the opposit of what youve been doing before), and keep at it.

Especially me...but shoot if you have any questions. The usual tips are start drifting stock, though settings do help but won't teach you really that basics to look for in your own style. Remember to use the stickies and our PM system.
