Just did some more practice. Im now runnig radiator at 75% and its just touching 100C. I dunno, maybe its not necessary but I like not for my engine to blow up after 89minites of racing:lol:

Btw lancashire lad, too early downshifting is killing for your engine, try to match your gears with your roadspeed. If you do this well you can also lower the brakemapping which saves fuel and helps cornering when offthrottle

just noticed ABS allowed for this one is that correct? :odd: but no TCS?

seems opposite to the real reg's isnt it?

I've been practicing with ABS off (as it is not allowed in the real LMP1 reg's). I'll have to give it a go and see the difference.

Well I asked before if people wanted it off or on and due to minimal response I figured you could decide for yourself if you want to use it

I did a bit of testing today and I'm more happy than I was with the car. Will do some more tomorrow if I get time. Thanks for the advice regarding down shifting etc,I do try to do that but when approaching a corner at 185 mph with cars at the side and behind it's easy to miss time. just realized the race starts at exactly same time as Canadian F1 so will have to record it .This game is brilliant even with the bugs and will only get better with the upcoming patch and I'll probably start a career then .

Okay it seems both the Marek and the RWD have 74 litre fuel capacity and use roughly 6L per lap. That means 12 laps per stint at the MOST, preferably 11. So we'll be running 22 laps tomorrow, to avoid some people maybe having to pit twice. Does anyone very much DISagree with this? Speak now or forever hold your piece.

i also just realized i have to create a pitstop setting. trying to figure that out :-)

i need to spend more time with this title, but i've been holding off for the first update.

too many things to choose from in this awesome game! sometimes i want things simple. so, fuel and tire pressures? I bet i dont need fresh tires, they seem to be ok through 11 laps. i think they can go 22...:scared:

Did an 11 lap practice race last night with 41 cars mixed class. Holy Crap was that fun :dopey:

Hey guys,

Really really sorry about this but I wont be able to make it tonight :( if someone could take over hosting this for me that would be great! I hope you have an awesome race anyway and somebody please save a replay and take some screenshots for me :)

Like I said, 22laps is probably best because of the fuel capacity. Also take note that if you set the racetime at 1500, that means practice session will start at that time. With x20 time progression that means youll probably start the race in the dark like we had last time....so you have to set the racetime early in the morning because you have to take into account 2x15minutes for practice and qualy...you will have to do a little math to get the race starting and time progresiion right...

Edit: I just did the math ;)
Set racetime at 0600 with x20 time progression and 15min practice and 15min qualy. The actual race will start at 1600. End of the race will be about 1800 the next day :)
Good luck!!

So, who will host? I have too little experience in PCars to trust me to try to set anything up yet.

I'm not on everyone's friend list either is why i am asking as well; To be certain i can find the room.

I'll set it up. Might be about 10 mins late though. Cheers for organising it and working the time out ;)
