Old VW?

My first car was an '83 1.8 GTI 5 speed and it had a few nice mods. Springs and dampers, Sachs clutch, some head work, headers and exhaust, K&N panel filter and 205/50-15s. It was quite rapid, cornered flat and gripped like Royce Gracie.

I'd never pay new GTI money for it though, not in a million years.

I've had a couple.

My old 1959 'lowlight' Karmann Ghia a.k.a The Zombie:

Lowlight Karmann Ghias are sexy cars and yours is no exception. The patina, the stance, etc. make it just a gorgeous car. You should be very proud of owning that. TBH, I'd take that over a car like a GT-R any day!

That 1959 'lowlight' Karmann Ghia a.k.a The Zombie seems to have an American license plate or am I mistaken. Maybe it's imported to the UK? He is afterall British.

I don't think you're mistaken--looks to be an old Oregon plate.
