Once this Board Comp get's overwith, I'm going to be starting a major overhaul of the OLR forums here at GTP. Myself, Der Alta and Duke have ironed out a plan for a Racing School. (Alex and Duke really did most of the leg work on this. Way to go gentlemen! đź‘Ť ) What the school will be geared towards is getting more involvement in OLR here at GTP with a major emphasis on having fun and learning to be a better racer. I want it to be a relaxed invironment that will encourage people to race that didn't before due to there lack of experience or fear of being slow. The goal will to be to breed some great racers.
But what we will need to get this school up and running is some help from some of the finest racers around. That is why I am here asking you all. I would like to know if any of you here would be interested in becoming involved in the School in the capacity of instructors. Each of us here posess a good understanding of the game, it's cars, tuning and most importantly, all of us here are some of the finest people that I have ever come across. (and that ain't no lie.) I hold each and everyone of you here in high regards and would love to have some of you participate in this idea and to get it off the ground.
Not alot of the details have been ironed out as of yet, but I just wanted to see what kind of participation that I can get from the lot of you. But as you sit there and ponder this idea and you have any input as to what you might like to see in a "OLRacing School" please feel free to express your ideas.
Thank you everyone, and I really hope that I can count on some of your involvement in this. So who's in on this?
Respectfully,
Rob
