Online Events Renewal - Feb. 26th

I feel same... is it 5 lapper, anybody know?

What is basic laptime there?

Expert:
PP550/FWD Suzuka
PP550/RWD Fuji Speedway F: 5 laps
PP600/AWD High Speed Ring
PP650/Daytona Road: 10 laps
F430/Suzuka N1: 5 laps

I think I'll be at Fuji Speedway most of the time, I don't like Suzuka, really hate High Speed Ring and PP650 at Daytona Road will be a bit too much to handle for me.

I think it's the how long can you keep it on the track event. :sly:

I only made it to Degner, on my 3rd try in free run. :yuck:

Please please please don't use this one in the race event 02. F430/N1 at Suzuka is just dumb. :yuck:

I thought about it. :mischievous:

But I consider myself the average racer, which uniquely qualifies me for selecting every racer events. :sly:

And this is not an every racer event.

The new events are up:

PP550 RWD Fuji Speedway F
PP600/AWD High Speed Ring
PP650/Daytona Road
F430/Suzuka N1

I can see Suzuki Swift Cup rising to the surface.. :D

and f430 sounds a lot fun... looking good for me. At least back to suzuka and something different there 👍

I have some major setup changes to do on a couple of cars for the new tracks.:ouch:

@Timppaq: :D , i'll definitely be arround with the Alfa 147 at Suzuka. I realy missed that event.

about that Suzuki Swift Cup, that was absolutely great! To bad I lost that video :s

I am a little disappointed that yet again there is nothing above 650pp. I want to get the Viper, Z06, GTLM or even the Mines GTR out and have a blast.

New events look cool... That Ferrari Suzuka event looks scary though... :nervous::scared:

Yes it seems we are stuck in a loop of either same make,or same drive train races.
Seems I am in a minority, being I enjoy seeing the race grid with up to 10 different cars.

Aaah the good ole days, when you could see a 350Z,racing with and beating a GTLM.

I still have a 650PP Daytona tune in my archive for the Mines GTR.... I remember Fuzzy could hit 1.51s all day long with it... it wasnt the fastest at the time... but really fun... 👍 If the rest arent all running R3s it might still be a contender. When that event was going down it was restricted to S2s though... Oh well... I'm going to get testing this weekend to see which tunes work and need adjusting! 👍

Is really Daytona Road a track were R3s are the best bet then? I'm not quite sure but I feel that this is a track where you really have the possibility to choose between grip in the infield or speed on the straights.

I didnt really mean that R3s are best, but the Mines being a faster "tuned" car, feels the PP restriction more then lets say a 350z or NSX. And the other "standard" cars can probably use S3s or higher... so that is what I was getting at there, R3 are definately not the best bet.. :D With the low PP levels its hard to tune the "tuned" cars to be competitive... if they would have 750PP then we could take those cars out easily again... but lately it hasnt been higher then 650PP... they should actually change it around completely per month.... So everyone can get the races they want at a certain point in time...

OR they can stop being cheap and host EVERY TRACK in std intermediate and expert and let US choose what track we would like to race on and what pp. or PRIVATE ROOMS WITH THE ABILILTY TO choose track laps and restrictions. But we all know that will never happen as gt5 is so far behind other racing sims on online capabilitys

ps EPIC FAIL at f430 on n1's ive been trying to match for over 45 minutes i see NO ONE wants to drive that event LOL

There is no problem at Suzuka with N1 fitted F430. You just have to imagine those heavy rainy deep blue clouds attacking the track.
:nervous:

haha wishfull thinking man i will give you that. But no we wont see weather changes till full game so why fake it to compensate lol. How hard is it REALLY for pd to just have all tracks.

Since there not actually "hosting" the room then there should be no issue with that. lets just hope this isnt a sign on what the full game is going to be like with scedualed monthly track updates!!!!!

If so then this will most likely be the downfall for gt :(

what you describe above would be the ideal situation... but knowing that that will never happen, I didnt suggest that :D Hopefully private rooms in GT5 will bring some better races and make more people content 👍

So... we'll all see each other at Suzuka, later? N1s on an F430? Sounds like a freaking blast... give me twenty degrees of negative camber and I'll nail it.

I'm just happy to see a FWD event is back :)
Just tried the Suzuka event out with a Integra and it''s fun
Looking forward to those battles with the GTi's , Focus's and Teg's

The F430 Ntyres is the only one I dislike, with S3 it would be nice.
With the N tyres only it wil be the drifters heaven

Shame for the next few days I'm limited for racing during the morning hours only. :yuck:

No quick tune for the F430 @ Suzuka. Stock car on N1s :)

It's interesting to say the least - bit of a cruel joke I think, PD!

After going through so many 20 lap races with people who could not even make it around one time without going off several times...this is how they reward us NO F2007 EVENT ONLINE...so you go through all the levels to earn the ability to purchase the F2007 and now you cannot even race online...All you open wheel racers see you at Burnout they have several great indy cars that sound like the real car and move like a rocket...
