I'm loving the 750pp Suzuka race!:D Been waiting for that to come back for sooooo long now. I like the 650pp Fuji World event too, gives the NTSC guys a chance to race PAL guys.👍

I like this new update, especially Eiger, though I fear it will be unpopular.

A problem I have with the update though is the lack of restrictions at Fuji 650 World Event. Won't be long before the grids are 95% GTRs or something. If the world event was 650pp FR only and no tuned cars it would have been perfect.

Hopefully in the race events forum there will be a one make race or something at this track.

I say bring back the M3 Event 2 Race Specifics 👍

Sounds good 👍 Loved to hotlap & race that combo

edit,

and oh, if PD is reading this thread:

BRING BACK THE Suzuka 600pp & S2's COMBO NEXT TIME!!!! (if possible as a world event, no rbe and 10laps)
Didn't you notice how popular that was? I surely remember.. Still reckon those to be the golden days of GT5p online. ...:sly: !!

Alright, haven't tuned the /Tuned cars in ages.:D I've got lots of work to do.

ahah.. think the most popular days were 750PP suzy definetelly.. ;)

btw if they are still reading... i know it will be hard but we can try:

GIVE US PRIVATE ROOMS :dopey:

Suzuka 600, S1 or S2, all cars allowed, was the best race ever. Even when the Subaru '07s came along and were half a second faster than anything else.

I don't even have to wield my dictator powers to have all the sensible folks agree on this. :D

750 on open rubber is nice but it's not as evenly weighted as that one was.

 Now THAT would be a surprise :)

I'm in love!!!

I wanted a London event... and I got it. Although its beginner, whatever...

I wanted an Eiger Pro event... Got it.

I wanted a 750+ event, and I got it on freaking Suzuka, 10 laps also!!! F-Ya! Score.

And a Fuji World Event...

This is a glorious update. Thanks PD, means a lot ;)

Yep yep yep.

I don't think Eiger has ever gotten an expert race.

Daytona Speedway (Oval) is insanely popular in STD physics, but I'm guessing PD thinks the track is for novices and those using pro physics wouldn't be interested? Yeah right. As I said a 10 lap 500pp PRO race at the track would be crazy fun.

As you said give beginner/STD/PRO every track, and just change the pp, or drivetrain, etc for each track per update.

We already have a limited number of tracks, why limit them further online?!

It's not fair there is only 4 expert events, but 15 beginner/STD events.
Well, you got Part of your wish:) The best part about this latest up-date is that PD/Sony is apparently Listening to us Both here at GTP and also at The PSU GT Forums. They finally got the message. I can see the difference in the online events...Now 5 Pro Races, and the two higest PP races are international 10 lappers....looks like Sony is preparing the Online Global testing for the GT5 Release soon. That ought to make a lot of gamers happy ;)

Hey Paulie... Im seeing a few events here that would be worth resurecting the tuners challenge... Interested?
The 750 PP at Suzy, and the Eiger would make a fun track for the Suzuki Swift or the CooperS

now.. where did i put the keys to my garage....

oh.. Great event update too !!

Cool, I look forward to the 750PP @ Suzuka. In the 650PP event I would use the 05 Impreza often, and could just manage 2:09s, was competitve most times but not vs some of the best as they would just walk away from me!! Now I need to find a car and get used to it for the 750PP event all over again, Any Suggestions...and will the Clios still be competitive?

In last nights 750pp racing there was not a Clio to be seen. I had my a$$ handed to me by a Mines a Chev (not /Tuned) and a few other cars. Im still finding my way with a wheel over a pad but what was refreshing is that there was a) a lot of quick drivers and b) not a clear dominating car yet.... give it time though.
