BlakeThe proposal has been accepted and it may be introduced in time for the 2007 season.
One thing though these wings cut the sponsorshop area of the rear wing, they certainly wont be worth what they were before.

appie17thats bad
ExigeExcelWait, shouldn\\\'t it be a narrower central wing rather than two split ones?
I mean as soon as you got to pull out and go round the car you hit dirty air again....
Suppose it\'s 6 to one and half a dozen of the other.
Also, doesn\\\'t the exhaust heat from the car infront mean you can\\\'t follow for so long? Suppose that can\\\'t be fixed either.
r0gu3, yes i do agree with you completely but just have a question, what are you gonna do now that the seasons over?r0gu3I don\'t care how boring people think Formula1 has become, it is still better then NASCAR. On that note, I do like the changes
The gap in the middle means that the centre of the front wing is in clean air, before none of the front wing would be in clean air. The gap in the middle means that the front of the car doesn’t lose that much downforce – allowing you to follow the car in-front more easily.ExigeExcelWait, shouldn't it be a narrower central wing rather than two split ones?
How so? If you pull out to go around the car you’re no longer being effected by the dirty air the car in-front is generating. Besides which – you only tend to pull out to pass a car on a straight where downforce isn’t much of an issue.I mean as soon as you got to pull out and go round the car you hit dirty air again....

Because before moving to the side to overtake you first have to leave the clean air caused by the gap, then go past the dirty air caused by the two side spoilers and then into the clean air as you pull alongside.BlakeHow so?
