Hope it's the right place to post that

This is my first "real" livery ever done and i'd like your opinions on the car. I wasn't able to find all the originals decals so i replaced some by something i tought was similar.

I'm opened to constructive critics ....or if you like it ... what was ok with it. I'm pretty happy with the result but there's always room for improvement :)

It's shared and you can find it under "Rothmans" ....and my user name is Gersicer.

Thanks for the feedback .

I'm assuming you're replicating the 2018 Le Mans Porsche. Looks real nice, but can't really see enough of the car to comment, except that the vinyl on the door behind the number plate should be the "Porsche Design Timepieces" one and is a tad bigger as your current vinyl. The correct vinyl is available to download.

Yeah ... I know about that vinyl. I guess i don't know about the right places to look for 'cos i couldn't find it anywhere.

Okay, I found some details I think you'll master the Livery Editor faster and better ! I've copied the image and made some circles around it.

Circles 1 & 1 on the front bumper ; You could give your decal more stretch, so it would go round edges better and give the car a better look for sure. In the both green circles (with number 1) you see some white from the base paint. I always set this number at least to number 7 or 8 in general OR I need a flat decal and leave the digit on 0 or even less than that.

Circle 2, the striping ; You are able to throw 300 decals to the car, so don't hesitate to use more layers. In this case you could copy the red and gold layer twice, each. Or even more. I tell you why :)

Because red and white could merge a bit, you can use another layer as a background for a (very) thin dark blue pinstripe. This would be the 'lowest' layer on the car for your stripes (on one side). Followed by red, dark blue again, white (to match with the body colour), dark blue again, gold, dark blue again, white and followed by the main decal, the beautiful Rothmans blue.

Circle 3, fenders in general ; By a livery like this Rothmans Porsche, you can add a bit of depth or 'life' to the car using a darker gradient (circle). Most of the time I take a colour 2 shades darker than the decal itself. Mostly using the gradient circle with the highest density/shortest gradient area or the middle one. Set your decal again to 7 or 8 for a better stretch around possible edges. But try to keep the depth as low as possible.

I hope it's clear what I've mentioned? Have fun and I'll follow you ;)

Thanks for the feedback ! I see what you mean and i' ll try to make the corrections. Well, i'll probably won't redo the stripes on this one since it took me forever to do them ;) but i'll certainly work on that aspect on the next one !

Have you been using the default colours? Just playing around with the mixer can lead to some great results. Also, I feel you need 1 or 2 more sponsors. It's a nice livery though!

For the colors, i tried both. As for the sponsors i really wanted it to be a reproduction of the original as much as possible. From the pictures i had anyway ... ;)

Thanks for the comments .
