That would be great, my shelves are bending under the load. (and no, I did not benfit from that engine bonanza time, was not playing at that time).

Looks pretty usual to me. If you feel that it was better 1, 2 or 3 years ago, the issue may be your memories and some kind of rosy retrospection, when game was fresh and new.

Most probably not. Hopefully we'll get one or 2 before GT8.

Who's "We" ? Other people want more classic cars, others wants more JDM, others DTM...

Well given the state of ACE, there a good margin before anything of the sort happens. And still, ACE is not on PS5 (yet) so PD/GT7 are serene now (a bit more pressure would be good for players, but at the moment, there is few pressure).

Expecting infos on new track from a silhouette of cars is weird. That was the point of @RACECAR, don't move the goalpost.

Yes the majority of the updates has been quite bad.

Gt7 is currently better than ACE. But i dont think it will be long until ACE will surpace gt7.
We know their is some very exciting stuff coming soon for it. In gt7 we are just in the dark, it has got so sterile. Feels good with something new and refreshing.

Define "long" ? I don't see this happening at least for one year. As for the availability on PS5, Kunos themselves don't see it before 2026... and we know how delays go in this world with games.

So IF it takes less than a year for ACE to become better than GT7 (which remains to be proven), you will still need a decent PC to enjoy it.

"know" is a bit exagerated I think, they've announced stuff, only time will tell if they'll deliver and how long it'll take.

Hopefully this is fixed with this update because this is unacceptable.View attachment 1423675
All of these cars (and a few more) drive perfectly fine in time trials and the AI in custom races have no issues driving them, but I can’t use them in events or custom races because of a coding error that labels these cars unable to drive unless I heavily de-tune them, add ballast, or equip worse grade tires, when they absolutely can function as they are without issues.
The only car that really deserves that label that I’ve encountered is the engine swapped Abarth 595 with no ballast.
I cant say what the issue is with your tunes,I dont know your specs but when I get this triangle,a little weight/aero/power or ballast tweaking normally sorts it.I dont remember taking any big hits, power or weight wise though.Like I said I dont know your tunes so there all slightly different one way or another. 👍

  • Hyundai Ioniq: ev👎
  • F3500-a: the one i'm most excited for
  • civic ef: if its the road version, its of little use to me.
If its the mugen motul civic: very cool👍.
If its road version but comes with engine swap option, i'll stamp a mugen motul civic livery on it 👍.
- the car said to be the toyota c-hr: I pray its a racing version. Otherwise👎.

I hope there is a tough race this update. Specially because in gtsport, with the introduction of the f1500, we got a challenging race in brands hatch that I enjoyed very much. I hope they do something similar now.

As i am not locked just to play ps5 its not an issue for me. I play majority of my games on pc.

Ac evo is a bit rough at the moment but with version 0.1.3 is kind of expected. It will be much better later.

In the 1.0 release its sure looks like it will be a lot better than gt7. And that is planned for fall of this year.

Gt7 is getting boring i have 2000 hours on it currently. Many of the main problems has yet to be improved witch is the single player experince and ai. 3 years in and still nothing.

What i find crazy is how a small team like kunos will have so much more things to do in its full release than both gt7 and fm that are both backed up with Microsoft and Sony with much larger budgets.

Its maybe the push Sony and pd needs to just put in a little more effort. Ac evo looks to be more of gran turismo game than gran turismo itself.

They are not doing much with the updates sadly.
Lately i have tried my new thrustmaster wheel for both games. Feels decent on gt7. But its on another level in ac evo.

Hopefully the F3500 drives in a really 'linear' way, I'm not really a fan of how the rest of the open wheelers in the game drive. I'm happy for the update, when they add this type of variety, it gives hope that some of the less 'popular' cars I want to see will come.

Another update, another month GT remains without an M5.
V10 mid-2000s M5 would be nice, not the overweight modern M5 CS, we definitely don't need that one, if there was a BMW I actually want that I feel needs adding, the 507 needs to come back from GT6 personally, also the BMW VGT desperately needs an interior

They should fire everyone at polyphony at start over. The updates, the car selection and lack of tracks. Time to clean house in my opinion.or maybe an another game company will actually listen to the players and capitalize on Gran Turismo and polyphony’s short comings and deaf ear policies. Give us more real tracks, real race cars, real sports cars. Not a pointless van or an EV no one cares about. Maybe it time to shelve it, get a system and invest in Iracing.

Good luck trying to make that happen to a series that is STILL selling well regardless of how you feel about the Updates.

The IONIQ 5N is getting rave reviews across the industry, with the opinion largely being that it's the first enjoyable performance EV for enthusiasts.

You might not care about it, but you shouldn't mistake that for anything but personal preference.
I saw one being driven into Ferrari's gates ( or Lambo I can't recall now).

I have a fear that this is a factor that might mean the BMW VGT is dropped from GT8. If that were to happen, I won't buy the game, and therefore won't need to buy the next console... every cloud has a silver lining...
The funny thing is I used to hate the BMW VGT in GT6 and was indifferent to it in sport, but it drives decently now in GT7, I don't want any VGTs to go away personally (I still miss the Fittipaldi VGT) I know some people would consider dropping VGTs a silver lining, but there are plenty of people that DO like them as well I've noticed

E39 right? The most perfect M5....

Ionic 5N = Ok
F3500a or whatever it is = Ok
Old Civic = I thought that was the middle car
Car on the far right = I initially thought it would be the Jeep Wrangler before I read the article and everyone 's commented....

The C-HR in the middle ???!!
Being in the US, I have always thought how under spec and underwhelming this cross over is, with so little power in comparison with its aggressive design language, it just didn't match the look with its lack thereof in the power department...
... And for that reason I have gained a very unfavorable view about that C-HR
The name is also weird and non descriptive... A bit too close to the H-RV or CRv from Honda ..

I really wish the C-HR came with a lot more power and AWD...I guess thaanks to PD and Kaz's favoritism to Toyota, I can correct this and make my own dream powerful C-HR... Yeah I guess....

I still wish with get proper fun car instead of a pseudo commuter city cars for old people who do not care about cars, but only to go from A to B in on overstyled bad design language... (Aka C-HR)

Giving the dirty look to the PD team...

What a waste of their time doing this C-HR

I will still buy it in GT7 because I am a completion and try it out... But please don't confuse me with a happy camper with this update...

Unless it has a couple of new tracks to compensate, especially since next week is my bday ;)
Lol

Thats an odd way of spelling E28...

but there are plenty of people that DO like them as well I've noticed
Me too, but I get that people get frustrated over no cockpit view. I've probably spent as long, or longer, in the livery editor on the BMW VGT as I have driving in the game. They've never fixed the glitch with the front air dam inlets showing through the bonnet, they're not going to add an interior.. I just hope they leave it in the car list for the next game.
