Branching from the successful FIA GTWC, the FIA GT3 Cup is a one-make 10-race series run over 5 weeks. The car of choice this season is the GTWC spec Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. The main purpose of this series is to provide a close quarters GT series whilst the GTWC series takes its seasonal break going into its third season. This series will also test future ideas that could be implemented into the FIA GTWC.

Points system
from 1st to 16th:
25, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2
Qualifying Pole= 1
*If a driver disconnects from the GT server then they will receive last place points based on how many people started the race.
Penalty System
The FIA GT3 Cup will run a similar penalty points system as the FIA GTWC does but with slight adjustments. Penalty points will not affect your overall points value, instead, they are counted as strikes. If you receive 10 penalty points, you will be banned from competing in the FIA GTWC, If you receive 15 penalty points you will be banned from participating in all future FIA* events

19:25 GMT- Regs check
19:30 GMT- Qualifying
19:40 GMT- Race 1 start
20:10 GMT- Race 1 finish
20:10- 20:15 GMT- 5 minute break, reg check, and Success ballast implementation.
20:15 GMT- Race 2 start
20:45 GMT- Race 2 finish
20:50 GMT- Room closure

Rules and regulations
- Sundays at 19:00 GMT
- Two 30 minute races
- 10 minute qualifying
- Pit-Start qualifying
- Race 2 grid determined by Race 1 finish order
- RH Tires only (Inters and rains in wet conditions acceptable)
- No required Pit stops
- Success ballast
- Real-life weather system
- Heavy Mechanical Damage
- ABS available

- 10 penalty points= Banned from FIA GTWC S3
- 15 penalty points= Banned from all FIA series.
- Intentional driver collision- 5 penalty points per driver involved
- Driving accident- Warning up to 3 penalty points per driver involved
- First corner accident- 3 penalty points per driver involved
- Blocking- Warning up to 2 penalty points per offense
- Aggressive driving- Warning up to 2 penalty points per offense
- Leaving race event- Disqualification
- Illegal specifications (Including ballast)- disqualification
- Inappropriate attitude- Warning up to Series ban
