Ordonez confirms Gran Turismo 6

The "lots of tracks" thing is intriguing to me. I wonder if they did something crazy like take all the Racing Series Licenses they have and just put all their tracks in the game. And then, for the Career mode, you could compete in each of the series. If you look at what they have now with the Super GT and NASCAR Licenses, that'd be a crap load of tracks.

But...then again...We've heard this line before by people visiting the studio. Apparently they have a massive database of tracks and cars....I wonder if those two databases will be fully available to us in GT6...it is very interesting indeed. Granted, if it is the "All the tracks in each racing series" then, that might imply a livery editor.

Agreed on both parts.

What I hope for is that they have enough tracks for each race series like you said. Because Nascar and Rallying felt empty it was there and that's it just there.

No word on what platform it’ll appear on though, with the racing driver offering an incredibly helpful “This is a very good question …” response.

It would seem that it could well be a PS4 title, which would make sense if Sony wanted to move new hardware on launch, however it could also be the rumoured PS Vita version.

A new version of Gran Turismo 5 is set to release in September if you can’t wait until GT 6 arrives.

GT5 Spec III: yes.

GT Vita: will wait until Sony/P.D confirms this. We need a proper racing game for the PS Vita!!

GT6: yes for the PS4.
