I like making lists. And I like games.

I found out the best way to remember my hefty 82 games for the PS4 was by making a list comprised of genres.

Total - 82

Of notice is that my most well represented genre is FPS with 12 entries, though I only purchased half of those. The rest came from PS Plus. Goes to show how ubiquitous this genre is.
And I came up with my own genres like 'cartoon' instead of 'platformers' and 'mythology', 'futuristic' etc. For purposes of easier recollection.

It will be fun to see your lists as well and how you group them, with what kind of genres.

I find the folder function on the PS4 homescreen very helpful for categorising games.

My 2 main categories are "Racing" and "Walking Simulators", but I also have "Puzzle", "Action" and a "Chill" category for more relaxing games to play in short bursts. This includes little indies like 'Race the sun' and 'Absolute Drift', but also 'Steep' and 'No Man's Sky'.
