Out of all the S2000 which one do you prefer?

i love s2000 i've bought almost all of them ranging from all the colours, but i personally prefer the Spoon S2000 with its hectic spoon engine which generates over 9000+ RPMs .

My S2000 LM. She done so many Nurburgring 24hrs. If I am not mistaking, I get 11000 RPM out of it.

I like the Amuse R1, for two reasons. First, I find the more extreme cars (the Amuse GT1, or the Opera, or any of the LM/JGTC/Touring/etc) to be difficult to control. When I scale things back to stay within their limits, I don't feel I'm getting their full potential, so I like the more forgiving cars like the S2000 R1 that let me push them to their limits without punishing me too badly if I go too far.

Mainly, though, I love the S2000 R1 for its appearance. The colors are funky and bold, and it's got all those great looking body mods that you simply can't apply to most cars in the game. Normally I'm not much of a fan of "rice," but when the car has performance to match, and when the appearance is carefully balanced, I think it's wonderful. The carbon hood and trunk, the spoiler, the flashy paint, and the rims all combine to make the S2000 R1 one of the best-looking cars in the game. I like it in orange, green, or bright red.

the older s2000's (2003 and below) start to oversteer noticably earlier than 2004 and later versions :)

Opera S2000, if you knew the history of this car you would love it too. It's a work of functional art!

And I like the '99 S2000 as well.

Yes its one of the Touge monster, it took up against the RX7 but lost, its classed under 300, not touge max. Any S2000 are quiet good, simply cause their engines are the best and handling, but best is the amuse s2000 cars, thier all good, even the GT1. Another thing, the Amuse GT1 has run the touge in Best motoring series, but i havent seen it. Im pretty sure it runs a stroked version of the 2.0lt engine to 2.2lt, and turbocharger to give it more than 450HP.

I remember one day last year, I was testing my Amuse GT1 on Grand Valley Speedway on B-Spec and I went out and by accident I left my PS2 on for a day and a half with some 800 laps completed. :dunce:

Talk about reliability! :ouch:

That's how it should be too. The earlier S2000's had a "problem" of switching from understeer to oversteer very quickly, after 2003, they corrected this "problem" by means of adjusting the suspension.

And fattening the tires, and upping the wheel diameter...

Oh, and Spoon S2000 Race Car, RPM glitch and all. Slap a turbo on their for mid-range torque and go to town (though I will admit that my S2000 LM has far, far more than triple the mileage that the Spoon has)/

It's a toss-up between the Opera S2000 and the Amuse S2000 GT1. The Opera has brilliant handling and the Amuse has the grunt to make it more fun

Yes, the Opera is unbeatable in handiling. You should look for the article Sport Compact Car did on it and it's creator. Check their website.

I'm going to have to say the Amuse R1 is the best. 👍
The Opera S2000 is nice but the weight (930kg stock) is what helps it out so much. The stock suspension settings aren't anything special and the power isn't very impressive.

Compare that to the Amuse R1 and I think the Amuse stands out. The reason I say that is because the Amuse weighs more and handles just as well (if not better).
And on that note, I believe the Amuse, stock vs stock, handles better than the Opera. This is probably because of the stock suspension settings.

The Opera, just like the Amuse, comes stock with "sports" suspension. However, what suprises me is that the Opera runs 0/0 camber. The Amuse on the other hand runs 4.0/4.5. That alone can make a huge difference and in my opinion it does. :sly:

Amuse R1 all the way. 👍

Unless I'm mistaken, though, the Opera offers adjustable downforce, which is something I know the Amuse does not have.

That's a good observation. 👍
It certainly helps handling when you've got 30 downforce points to work with on both front and rear.
For the arcade version it's a sad story since the default downforce is 0/0.
Still a great car though (the opera S2k).

Of course, in a comparison I still like the Amuse more for the color choices if nothing else. ;)
