Can't do online free run for R3 tires on three of those tracks, someone wasn't thinking . Or can you?

That right there will be the only limit to your cars tuning : ) Still doesnt stop you from going max power / min weight and then being able to successfully put in a hot lap with that config, everyone is still on the same level playing field

Where could i do london and eiger?

I'm going from memory cause I am at work.. if they not available I'll take them out.. as i said at the top of the post, i copied the list from Timppaqs thread...

If it would help I can send you a link that shows what tracks are available for online racing ?? ;)

Pro physic wise, daytona road, speedway, HSR, suzuka and fuji GT.

As a bench mark, shove in my Suzuka 750PP time for the Amuse (749pp RVT Tune) at 2:00.876. Now people have something to aim for thats beatable without much trouble. I don't like tuning for unlimited because i like regulations to work around, so ill just get the ball rolling.

what about arcade mode? I like fugi but cant run it online in 750PP trim :(.. I did however just run a 1:43.648 on fugji F in my blitz(750PP), my personal tune in arcade.

Im not sure we can include Arcade mode as the only way you can run a tuned car is in an actual race correct ?? This would allow slip streaming.

For Fuji F times, go Online, Select PP600 and tune your car as far as you like. you can still run the Free Run with above PP600, you just cant start a race and you are stuck with S2 tyres.

Oooo Daytona Speedways up, put me down for a 45.889 at 750PP Corvette/Tuned (RVT Tune), I'll go whoop that with a lighter car though

EDIT: Same car maxxed, 43.887 (RVT Tune maxxed)

He'd have to be able to beat that S2000 time of yours, because I know my Corvette is faster than any S2000 but I am not faster than you.

Not neccessarily, your 'Vette is heavier and carries less power then the Amuse at my set up compared to your own and my own 'Vette for that matter.

EDIT: Had a quick go in my 750 'Vette, cracked off a 2:01.476 (suzuka), i think there's more to come out of that tune, but im content. You'll notice I'm not taking advantage of the extra PP i could be using, because of what i stated earlier, i don't like unlimited tuning as it hands the advantage to certain cars. Remember people, you can use max points here, don't just follow my lead.

My Corvette is light as possible, and I'm pretty sure that makes it lighter than anything else except an Elise. I'm qute happy that my Corvette will not be beaten by another Corvette, or even an S2000. Even in the Suzuka 750 time trial the 2nd fastest car behind a GT LM is a Corvette last time I checked.

Edit: OK, Corvette is 10kg heavier than the S2000, but the big difference is Corvette's torque.
Power is for show, torque is for go. (Feel free to use that in your sig.:sly:)

Suzuka

2´01.647 -- Ford GTlm specII by Concept GT -- GTP_P3nT4gr4m (750pp TLD tune)

This car will go under 2mins. Watch this space...

I don't doubt its faster, but the Amuse can corner much better, its much more nimble then the 'Vette feels. I'm trying with a 750 GT LM, but just can't release the power when you want in it. Its frustrating having to feather it then by the time you put it down the next corners coming up.

Try my newly released tune.........please? (Of the GT LM). Even I feel confident that with the right lap and enough time spent working on it I could beat your S2000 time with my GT LM. (I was 0.5sec ahead of a 2'02.6 lap with corners ahead I had screwed up on in the earlier lap, but accidentally put myself in the sand coming on to the back straight Edit: No wait, that was with the Corvette. GT LM might crack under 2'00. Pentagram is trying to do it in my car right now but with some suspenion mods that favour turning ability over stability)

Managed a 2:00.953 in mine at 749PP, Mines set for racing so its not terribly fast, i favoured stability. Annoying that my S2000 was a lap i set a week or so back, and i still can't beat it.

Oh and i'm going out soon, maybe i'll try your tune when i get back.

Annoying that my S2000 was a lap i set a week or so back, and i still can't beat it.

Doesn't it do your head in when the first lap you put in completely ruins a pleasant evenings hotlapping for you?

That's what killed last nights Academy attempt for me - the fact that I couldn't beat my second lap :banghead:

Beat that damn lap! finally! 2:00.604... problem was i resorted to using my S2000 to do it. Thing is it's just so fast through the first half of the lap, i hit the checkpoint near the bridge leading into the hairpin in 53.5 seconds or less. Naturally other cars gain through the rest but never get the time lost back. I'm sure the GT could do under 2 minutes, positive, but its just not much fun to drive for me.

Time for a victory drift lap before i go out :sly:

Yes...very much so. It's more annoying having a ghost which is lightning through one section and you can't catch, then another its slow. Just makes you realise what could've been.

Tonight I've been doing quite a bit of test driving for NLxAROSA on a new DC Viper Tuned tune, which included two different test cars, a 6 speed designed one and a 5 speed designed one.

Suzuka PP750:
2´05.125 -- Dodge Viper SRT10/Tuned (DC's tune, 6-Speed test car) -- GTP_Ardius
2´04.470 -- Dodge Viper SRT10/Tuned (DC's tune, 5-Speed test car) -- GTP_Ardius

Think I can get those times down a bit, but from my testing sessions, thats my best so far.

*update*

I'm in two minds tonight:

Ecstatic - I busted the 2'01 barrier with a 2'00.924 in the GTlm - suzuka 750(less than a second to go now)

Suicidal - couldn't get within a second of last nights mediocre attempt on academy. I'm on the verge of giving up on this

888, you can delete my old S2000 time, it was the same car (749PP RVT Tune) that set the faster lap of 2:00.604

The 43.887 was on unlimited PP on the 'vette tuned daytona oval, the 45.889 lap was at 750 PP. I'd like both including with those notes though please.

EDIT: So only these times of mine are their.

2:00.604 Amuse S2000 (749pp RVT Tune) Dragonistic

43.887 at MaxPP Corvette/Tuned (RVT Tune), Dragonistic
45.889 at 750PP Corvette/Tuned (RVT Tune), Dragonistic

Well I may not be the best driver, but this is a pretty good time for me. Maybe there is a bit more in it for me, but personally I'd have to drive for hours to improve on it much. I'm sure a really fast driver could do much much better in my car.

TLD Corvette Z06/Tuned 749 PP, Suzuka: 2'02.114

I'll try both that 'Vette and the GT LM for you over the the next few days. The 'Vettes debatable whether it will beat my S2000 due the handling capabilities, not sure if the 'Vettes straight line can make up for it. GT LM however, we all know the weak link there will be me more then car. I'm still certain I could break the 2 minute barrier with one, but it just doesn't feel as special as it will if I crack it in my S2000 first.

And so I lay the gauntlet down for myself, a 1:59 or better in the Amuse at 750PP.
