Well, since I was bored of getting rivals that have normal Ti4600s, I decided I'ed get a program to overclock it ;)
I found http://www.voodoofiles.com/2597 NvMax to have sliderbars (like my Nvidia drivers once had, and then they vanished) and from http://www.voodoofiles.com I got the leaked 30.82 drivers.

So I went to work moving the sliders around and running SOF2 to check my improved framerate. I went from an average 150-200 to 200-300, just by going up 10MHZ on both Core and Ram clocks.
So I got bold and went all the way to the end of the blue, and ran SOF2.
No framerate improvement at all, and I noticed that textures cept flashing white, and then it froze, assuming by the heat. So I moved to 310Mhz core and 665 RAM clocks, maybe I'll mess around with making the core higher when I get a bit more bold :)

For now, I'm leaving it this way. I love this card :D

I recommend the prog for anyone with a Geforce card willing to mess around with it.
Don't mess too much, or you'll be out a few bucks you'll be layin down for a new card ;)

I like to use Geforce Tweak Utility and RivaTuner for my GeForce 3 Ti500. I like them because, if you overclock your card too high, it will automatically revert to the default settings.

About those 30.82s. Are they stable?

Haven't had a problem wit em yet, so I guess they are.
But I've only had like a hour and a half of testing with them

Benchmarks after everything.
I think I was in the 9000s before :)

You only have a 133 FSB, Mista? Or does DDR just show up as 133 at MadOnion?

A little OT - what temps do you see with your CPU? I have a T-Bird 1400 that I run at 1200 because it's not stable at its full rated speed. :reallyodd

Even at 1200 temps easily exceed 130 degrees F. If I run it full speed they get up over 140 in no time.

If I actually overclock it, Windows won't even start.

I dunno, I never really paid any mind to FSB.
My temps always stay low, since my comp is always open.
I think its around 120F all the time.

risingson77: I think I had the same problem as you did. I have a 2000+ Athlon and sometimes it would freeze up like it was being overclocked too high. I debugged like hell and found out my powersupply wasn't giving enough power to the cpu. Try changing the cpu voltage in your bios to a higher volt.

Oooh, mister big shot with his 10k+ score. :P

Hm...I've tried that before...it didn't do much, but I can try again. How much extra voltage did you use?

I've also been told that my 300w PSU could be a little underpowered for my CPU. I might have to try a 400+ one. :D

MistaX.....,

You could get the new ATI9700 and more than crush the nVidia competition, until they came out with their counter....

I like nVidia, i've never had a problem with a nVidia card.
I think I'll be sticking with nVid until someone comes out with a much higher card then what they have out, and it would still be tough for me to decide to switch.

So MistaX, you overclocked your 4600 and it worked fine? You didn't have a professional do it or anything? I might consider overclocking mine if thats the case...when my parents aren't home of course. :D
