.PAC files? what to open with?

I got a .pac file, what can i use to extract the information with?

From what I can gather, a PAC file is multiple images in one. I would not have a clue what to open them with as Photoshop doesn't support them.

I've read that already, but the only thing I want to do, is to extract the information that is packed within the .pac files. I borrowed my friends Application Recovery Disc(s), and extracted the iso onto my hdd, but the apps are all in .pac format. And I can't install it like a normal app because the Recovery Discs says not meant to run on this computer. (since i'm running a compaq and my friend a sony vaio).

nope.. i tried all the basic unpackers for compressed files but none seem to have worked

Maybe they're not .pac files. Have you tried renaming them to .exe, .zip, .rar, etc.?

I was tryin to get some program called Sonic Stage.. but it only works on Sony computers so that was gay
