Nice, I'm a big boxing fan. I was surprised that there wasnt a official boxing thread here on GTPlanet. Anyway, this is going to be a interesting fight hopefully, Manny's last fight with Miguel Cotto was supposed to be a tricky fight for him, but Manny put in a fantastic performance to beat Miguel Cotto. I think this fight with Margarito could turn out like that fight, however, I can see Margarito having more success than Cotto, much bigger than Cotto. But I think Manny will win this one, maybe late stoppage, but who knows, anything can happen in boxing.

Anything can happen indeed. Remember when they said Pacquiao will get annihilated by De La Hoya? Quite the opposite is what happened.. lol

Yeah that was a good performance against De La Hoya, but we all know that De La Hoya was way past his best. Nevertheless, Manny still did a good job in dispatching De La Hoya.

Floyd versus Manny will never happen... the Mayweathers make demands... throw words around... and when Roach's camp accepts... they make new demands... then they go on Sabbatical.
I don't care anymore. Manny has more belts in more weight divisions... he has dominated many of his opponents... and he's one hell of a gentleman. If this is his last fight, I'll be happy.
That dominant performance... wow. Margarito was quick, but Manny was just lightning quick. This is his heaviest weight division ever, and he was faster in this fight than in his last few fights. I stopped counting how many times he snapped back Margarito's head by round two. Couldn't follow it, any more.
Thought he was in trouble in the middle rounds (thought he lost two), as Margarito used his weight to push Manny to the ropes and got him with a few good shots to the head. But a few seconds after each incident, Manny would shrug it off, and he never lost his legs.
When Manny started pulling his punches in Round 12 so as not to hurt Margarito or injure him further, a tear came to my eye. That's pure class. That last round is worth boxer of the year, right there.

Pacquiao is just a legend and he doesn't need Mayweather to prove that. He has 8 championship belts in 5 different weight divisions. Even with all this hype he's carrying, he's still as humble as can be. He even asked the referee to look at Margarito's eye before round 10 (I think), but he even looks out for his opponent, which is uncommon for fighters!
