My Pagani Zonda LM is going to take on the LMP Cars, so I entered the Circuit La Sarthe Race I in Real Circuit Tours, I added a Stage 3 Turbo to boost the horsepower up to somewhere in the 700's, I'm awarded 169 A Spec Points for the 3 lap race.

I wasn't expecting to win, but a podium would be good. So, the race started.
As I came under the Dunlop Bridge, the Mc Laren had dropped to fifth, and was very close, I was still last, I was in fifth just as I came onto the straight, ahead of the Mc Laren.
Now, I was in the Audi and Pagani's draft, I tore past them both at 216 Mph, I was exepcting the Audi to comeback at me soon though.
I made sure the Audi didn't get in my slipstream, I was safe through the first chicane, and now quite close to the Bentley. Now I was close, I had a choice, I risk overtaking the Bently before Porsche corner, or I play it safe in third. I was coming closer to the corner, the deadly corner that could end my race already, but still, I pulled out from behind the Bently, and passed quite easily really at 206 Mph, I was in second place, the Sauber was far ahead though.
Now I was driving through the slower half of the track, the Bently was very close behind me, and could pass any moment, the Audi was further behind, but I was guessing he'd make a comeback later in the race.
Still driving through the light esses, the Bentley slowley overtook me, but since I had the inside, I was back in second by the next corner. Driving wide at the first 90 degrees corner saw the Bentley overtake me and the Audi come right up behind me, I was in third, but just.
But then it got worse, the Audi sped past just after the second 90 degrees turn, putting me in fourth, not where I wanted to be.
Oh no! Just as I was about to overtake the Audi, I spun out, down to sixth I went, but with two laps left, could I make a comeback and finish in the top 3?
The otehr Pagani, which never really pulled away from me after the crash, was dispatched just coming onto lap 2, the Mc Laren was in sight, but quite far away. The Mc Laren was overtaken at the start of the long, back staight,
I just noticed the other cars were very far ahead, I thought that fourth was the highest I'd get.
Where I spun out last time was taken safley this time, the Audi and Bentley seemed closer now on the map, but time was running out as I neared the final lap.
I couldn't believe it, bad luck and good luck in one corner, on the last long, right sweeper, I went slightly wide, and down to fifth place, but close to the Mc Laren, but the Sauber pitted, I could still come in a podium position with luck, then, the Audi and Bently pitted, I needed to perform though, my tires would be ruined by the end of this race, but it's a risk I must take.
I was surprised when I came past the pit exit just a few tenths of a seconds before the Sauber exited, oh well, I may as well try, I thought.
Since I was going much faster than the Sauber by the pits, I was around two seconds ahead of it, but I was caught up by the start of the straight, but, the Mc Laren was about to be overtaken by me, so my position would remain second, even if the Sauber overtook.
I was in first my the first chicane, but only just, my tires were half orange, half red already, the Sauber overtook the Mc Laren just after the first chicane, now the race was really on.
I was still leading coming up to the second chicane, but I went wide due to dead back tires, I was now third.
Eeek, as I look behind after the Porsche corner, I see the Audi, very far behind, but is it far enough?
My tires were ruined by the time I was nearing the finish, the Mc Laren had gone wide, allowing me to pass into second, but the Audi was biting away at my rear bumper, I taken it carefully and defensivly through the chicanes, I had come second, some ten seconds behind the winning Sauber C9, what a race, despite not winning, it was very enjoyable, I hope you enjoied reading as much as I enjoied racing
